This was a fun little game! I was expecting more creeps and gore but the tension was great and of course the character super cute. I enjoyed, the ending was awesome! Here is my gameplay video!
Nice game, I love the cute - Animal Crossing-esque graphics, it works rally well in creating a creepy atmosphere and a sense of wrongness when the horror elements start. I loved the creepy shadow appearing randomly as we explored, I was really hoping we would encounter it as we were going through the mirror maze - see his shadow reflected behind us.
I had a lot of fun playing Rental! I really enjoyed interacting with the environment and reading the dialog from Umi and all the other characters. I don't exactly know what happened, but I did have to restart the game to find the "secret passage". Keep up the good work!
Really great horror game, get very much an Animal Crossing Vibe. Not sure if it was intentional, but being able to see the void when inside the building gave me the impression we were in a very different realm than our family outside. Loved the ending!
Loved this game!, you did a great job with the graphics and charming lines, aswell as portraying the protagonist's personality in such a short time so well lol.
You need to fix closed wardrobe coz if you try seek something in it again you will always get the same cross (although they do not stack so you cant get 6 from only this closet)
I loved this game, and love the art style. It had some great ambiance and great atmosphere. Though the constant closing doors I think almost drove me crazy. Despite that, it's a well crafted short game, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. That ending line was great. Great Aesthetic, and the lo-fi pixels was a nice call back to the retro demos of old. Overall great game and really well done for a jam game.

Loved how you gave the protagonist a child-like personality, and the way the whole experience felt like an old game you would find in a garage.

i think the fixed camera angles kind of dull down the scares because the monster/shadow is sometimes not visible, but great atmosphere!
Gave it a Let's Play, short but interesting - hope there's more games like this but a bit longer in gameplay duration ;0 Got all achievements too!

Great game.
One of those cute anime horror crossovers that actually embrace both the cute and the horror aspects.
Controls and camera were a little annoying a couple of times, but usually fine, and ultimately evoking that classic retro, ps1 horror vibe.
Has a good sense of humour too. Try it out.
