Version 0.60 (Haruki) - Public Release
Good afternoon,
Continuing from the last update, this version updates more of Haruki, as well as changing a lot of code under the hood to make the game more stable, improve animations and transitions, among other things. Hopefully you all will like it!
Important disclaimer: In case there is an issue that causes older player saves to stop working, there really is nothing that can be done about that. Sometimes, changes are made to the code that makes some/all old saves stop working and I can't avoid making them at times. If that happens, use the 'Skip to Next Choice' function (alongside Skip Unread if needed) to get to the point where you stopped.
Here is the list of changes:
- Days 13, 14 and 15 added for Haruki
- Continuing upgrades to code under the hood to improve transitions, sprite animations and fix errors
- Typo/Error log has been cleared and all errors reported have been fixed

its so funny how haruki instantly became a huge favorite
Spoilers:
I have to say that I'm a little disappointed that Haruki didn't make the difference in the end (I know they switched him out, but still). It makes sense that this last minute breakthrough wasn't enough to make them in sync to win on a narrative level, but I was still holding my breath the whole time. What came after made it all worth it though.
Also this is sus:
I loved it. Similarities in Haruki's route hurt as much, if not more than in Jun's route.
Also i assume there would be Taro's sprite in the placeholder's place? I kinda looked forward to seeing him after all this
Kinda-sorta minor spoilers ahead :
Dynamic with Yuuichi and the "why the fuck do i keep bumping into this guy" trope is hilarious, loved every bit of it
And the route theme with prejudice is my favorite of all routes, for me it even outdid Jun's route, and i assure you, Jun's route MADE ME CRY MULTIPLE TIMES AND BE OUT OF IT FOR TWO WEEKS
Though i don't want to recover from experience from Haruki's route, it really made my head clearer than before, i didn't know how badly i needed this stuff and this lesson

It cracks me up how the first thing Haruki does after hearing suspicious sounds which made him assume that Yuuichi and Shoichi is boning in a closet is to come closer and listen like bro noooooooo

But then again it's not a major one as it does happen in other path we just get to see it from another perspective

1) He likes hearing about people's relationship/sex life per shoichi's route
2) He both respect and hates Shoichi. So confirming they were boning would give validation to the hate [though opposite happened]. As well as chance to be spiteful and and bust in.
3) Haruki was never a prude person. not shy about sex unlike Yuuichi. nor does he give a rat ass about anyone's privacy.

Erm, I loaded my save on PC version to Shoichi Day 14 on rooftop scene with Haruki......
And Haruki doesn't have is clothes on...... Sometimes clothes flicker on, but it is usually off.....
If one were to play from or scroll to the 1st 2 lines of Haruki on rooftop, bug doesn't happen/is resolved.

I guess never judge other people by its cover, this haruki route teach us all.
It must've been a year or more since I last read this visual novel. So imagine my surprise to see that Haruki's got a route. Wow. Still, I'm planning to read it when the project is over. I'll se what's changed from what I remember. It could be like reading from zero, actually. Anyways, thanks for this.
SpoilerI cried when in the Shoichi's route when he was bawling and really crying while blaming himself that they lost, now this hits different when he was crying, blaming himself he's the reason why Haruki can't play nor win because of him, and seeing Haruki fustrated hearing those words of grief and regret, seeing how much similar him and Shoichi are in their state of problem.Really wonderful writing Basky, really wonderful...

Wow... This was certainly an interesting stopping point for Haruki. I have to say... if I was already starting to like Haruki more with the CS days, I think I like him even more now.
Is Haruki a brocon?
