There is a guide in the patreon about the early game, after that point you unlock a new journal with a hint system. I know its cluncky but this is my first game in Renpy so, I was learning a lot when doing it and kinda messed that.

Yes, I got a few reports... I am totally confused why this is happening, it never happened before and it makes no sense it would be happening either lol This is a renpy's thing for sure, but I can't figure it out. I hope future updates somehow don't have this bug
Do you have a screenshot? The story is quite lenghty, so I am not sure at what point of it you are haha.
But usually, Emma can be access through the phone menu (there is no phone UI though, but it's around the options you have in your house), and Katy and Celia probably accessed through visiting their rooms. I don't recall that the time of the day mattered but perhaps that can help it.
If not, check the HQ, many quests start from there
im trying to continue taking down folk inc whenever i click on the button at hq, and there are no other button prompts that i can see when clicking on celia, emma, or katy's rooms/phone
Get a lot of serums, like maybe 50, before dealing with anything other than the super basic quest line stuff, easy to do it early on when ur less sus, and less consequences for a fuckup you just restart early.
When getting Serums, keep an eye on suspicion, whenever it's high you need to work or take your break to lower sus. (keep in mind missing the whole day of work=more sus)
doing suspicious things at different times of the day lead to different levels of suspicion game.
once you get a bunch of serums, and mind control your roommate, landlord, and boss, make a save. (keep in mind if you fuck up you can always go back)
then you just open the journal for your tasks (each individual has different tasks required, you do them to progress), later on there is a way to automate making serums, earning money, doing research, and it raises sus, so the dev also added a way to auto reduce sus. Make sure to take advantage of these things.
Past that things just kinda snowball, keep an eye on sus, and just do the tasks.
Nop, I haven't actually updated it since pre-Covid era, and don't think I will have the budget for a new one soon, but now that prices are more acceptable, it might be possible (During covid they were being sold here at $5000 lol just ridiculous)
Yeah, I know. I eventually was lucky that by the time my GTX1070 burned out, I was able to replace it with a laptop with an RTX3070 less than that money.
The game doesn't seem to be functioning. Whenever I click the 'TakeOver' file, nothing happens. I've tried restarting the computer, but still, nothing is functioning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is by far one of my favorite games with how many characters there are and the choices available with Emma and how you want to proceed with Vera's team. I was also pleasantly surprised with some minor bi content after the updates. (I always felt it was unfair to ignore Emma's kinky wishes lol
