Some time ago I mentioned about an ideia of improving the NPC's page on the MC journal.
This is basically what I was thinking (Ignore the poor design since I made it ar work and using the paint, so, it't not that detailed):
1 - Character Name:
Nothing really complex, just tha character name as we actually know them (since there are characters which we just know about their names later).
2 - Character Art:
This is something that would be used exclusively as a friendly-face interface. It's not really important and the whole ideia it's not to focus on it, but is just to make things a litte more charming.
Hyao could use this section to put, for now, the whole sprite of the character (the standard one, actually).
It would be cool in the future to have an special art for each character here, for example, an art of Bernard on his shop trading with someone or an art of Rhot during training session, you know. But still, it's totally not necessary and I understand Hyao has a lot of other things to work on.
3* - Character Variations:
I put the * symbol to indicate the arrows and the other one I put in the wrong place. It should have been on the boxes below the character art square.
This section would be useful just to revisit the sprites we have from the characters (the ones we have actually seen)
I put the * too because I was thinking about using the arrows to change the sprite variation, but at the same time I thought about instead of going through each one you could jusr pick the one you want on boxes below.
4 - Like bar:
I don't know if 100 is the highest like score you can have with a person, but I put it there because it's the highest I saw.
There could be an arrow or something that indicates exactly where your reputation with that character on the bar.
5 - Hearts:
I was thinking about empty heart shapes, which could be fullfilled with a black or red hearts as the game progress.
It would be interesting to have the amount of empty heart shapes equal to the amount of heart we could ger with that character. For example, on Xer's page that would be just one empty heart, while on Bernard's page that would be four.
6 - Notes:
This section would be very useful during in game on my opinion to keep you up with the story.
The whole ideia is to have small notes of interesting things you discover about they.
For example, Bernard notes would be like:
- Used to have a best friend called Caleb, who is missing. (This would be updated as the game progress)
- Used to make business with my teacher.
- Use to go hunting every Friday during *I don't remember the time exactly*.
And things like that. I know that, for know, it would not be THAT useful since we don't have much of information from all the characters, but later on it could came to hand.
The whole ideia of the improvement on the NPC's page would be something that woulds constantly updating as the game progress (There could have a message on the up-left corner saying that that's something new on the journal).
At the end of it all I would just like to say this is just an ideia I had. I have no intention to bother anyone or Hyao, I just wanted to share it because I think that's something important during an in-progress game comunnity, to participate and discuss and share and, you know, show to the creators how invested you are and how their work is impacting other people.
For know, that's it. Sorry for the long text or any mistypes. I would like to hear what's your opinion about it :)
It will take a lot of time. Just like doing the quest log. I have that in mind though, the base is already prepared, but there's never enough time for everything. If I put more attention to it, it means less content written and I usually prioritize the events. Eventually I'll finish that part though.
something y would like to be added is zoom the characters while the +18 escenes, i thing that migth be easy to add and useful. sorry my english is bad too
This swampwerewolf thing I didn't even knew it wan an event. I didn't used to visit Mysty Abiss that much and one day I found it there.
I have no clue if I did something for it to appear or nor, but I can tell you it probably needs to be after the payback event, since when you'll go talk to Logan or Bernard (depending of who made the payback event with you) they'll tell they sense there is something wrong with the pack.
First of all: I think you can only save him if you didn't encourage him to go after the bandits. Second: When you have the nighttime event (with the 2 wolfs bane in inventory) you have to go to the sawmill directly.
You don't really need to go to the sawmill (at least I didn't), when you hear Rose and the Girl talking about the beast and Bernard, before you go, the MC will hear an howl coming from the sawmill and then you'll have to choose who are you going to rescue.
this, it's only a choice between Bernard or Logan if you didn't encourage Logan to go the camp earlier. Location doesn't matter.
decided to test it as i was trying to find some new dialog out of curiosity about how certain characters react to things in one-time events and discovered, I was right. I went to the shopkeeper's place and then picked Logan and was able to do the entire event all over again, Location don't matter what you choose does.
yeah you can capture him on the good route. i did it but never progressed further so i dont know if it changes anything when you release him later in the story.
I can't activate "I owe you a beer" even with all the requirements met, and I've been trying to activate it for a while. Are you required to have only 1 heart with Logan? Because I already have 2 because of the werewolves' fight with the swamp creature. I've tried sleep, relax, rest, getting in and out of the house in Bareshade, if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Maybe it's just bad luck and RGN doesn't want to cooperate.
The same thing is happening with me. I've done it a past update before but for some reason I can't do it in the new one. I haven't done the new quest with him however I have done the investigation part and fought the swamp werewolf. Maybe it's a glitch with that or just a normal glitch, which is really annoying. I'm going to experiment a bit and maybe do a reset, If I find anything i'll post it.
I did it randonly on my first gameplay, didn't even knew it was an issue.
I think it happened before I spent time with him at the weekly festival in Bareshade (I remember something about the MC mentioning the new house in town and asking him to come visit anytime, but it can be just my imagination)
From what I saw, you need to already have seen that scene with him and Barrel at the tavern and maybe try giving him gifts. Rose sells an item called top something you can give it to him.
Does anyone knows if Hyao has already an ideia of when he'll finish adding all the story content? Like, an ideia of how far we are from the final update?
no. no one has any idea, and i am gonna say i doubt its close due to how vast the game is. and thats kinda fun because it means we got a long journey with Hyao!
I was thinking tha game was kinda half way, since we already know the main villain (I think?). But as we have all the other things to explore (Like Tao's home and Northcrest) maybe there'll take some time.

but on the topic of how far, I don't know how far but halfway to maybe somewhat before halfway seems realistic so maybe? I do think it'll take some time and as much as I enjoy the idea of having everything fully explorable it's gonna be bittersweet because it means that would be the end, so I have been ignoring the idea of how far we might be so far lol.
I can't blame you. The game is really well done. It's joyful to play it. The whole story it's so well done and consistent. It's a very good game, indeed.
I can't seem to trigger Logan's "I owe you a beer" I've done all the requirements (1 heart, over 40 like, finished farm road, all Bareshade upgrades, helped him work, and seen the Barrel argument) maybe my rng sucks. Update .46.
where have you been going to trigger it? you gotta rest at your house at the time of 20:00 for 8 hours and he should show up then. if you're going to his place or your hut in the forest it won't trigger. if you're doing this entirely right then maybe some other requirement i can't come up with is incomplete or its a glitch, lets hope it's not a glitch as glitches are far more annoying.
Does that include increasing its damage? What is actually throwing me off a bit is that it says that increasing perception stat increases the aim of ranged weapons but didn't specifically say it will increase the damage of ranged weapons.
As for the strength stat, it says it will increase damage during a battle but never specified that it's only exclusive to melee weapons.

Did you play in Normal Logan route and finished Trouble in den event? If you already done it, you just have to wait for a week. After you wait for a week, there "a chance" that Logan will visit you at your house, outside Bareshade, by night. If Logan don't visit you even you have wait for a week, just re-enter your house (just go outside and come back to a house) to reset your RNG.
The guests characters (Like Arion and Hayden) are from those who support the game on Patreon? I read his patreon page but couldn't find anything about it.
no, the guest characters are Hyao's either Irl friends or online friends he wanted to include in the game, he has not had that as a reward for any patrons or anyone.

Groth is still at the orc village, but we can't do anything with him unless you let the nameless take over his mind so he fucks you essentially as a puppet of the nameless.
we actually had an event a while back where we got to screw around with Logan Bernard Caleb and Korg at the same time for Halloween so like why settle for one?

this one, yes. multiples times multiple ways, and even one literal way in the place of a sexual way!
you can screw with Logan during 2 of his events but one of them if you do, he will hate you. the other he starts it and its fine. anything else said would be a spoiler lol.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think not. I think you'll just not be able to get 1 of the Logan's hearts, since you obtain one choosing to go after him and stay with him in the woods.
I think you can still make the other events though, but I'm not sure since in my 2 gameplays, I choosed to save him instead of Bernard.
from some of Logan's stuff yeah, your locked out but other werewolf stuff your still able to do. like the main plotline for him I believe is still possible you just don't get a couple of scenes and some fun flavor text later after some certain events.
I read something about placing an Air Plate somewhere, but I'm not sure where and not sure if it's really the Air Plate.
What I can tell you is that, if you put a Water Plate down there, you'll flood that room above the water and you'll no longer be able to collect the item.
Hi, I can't seem to trigger the new Logan event :( I've done everything that could be done with him, including the swamp werewolf event, some time ago. Now I've waited for over a week but nothing happens. Are there any other requirements? Or is it a bug and I have to replay from the beginning?
Hi, I played the game again recently and I'm already able to start the new event (I didn't though).
I think you'll be able to do it if you finished the Full Moon event with all the parts (except Caleb) and I think you need to have at least 1 heart with him.
For me, I have the option when I go to Sawmill to "Skip Time (Logan's Event)" after done those things.
Maybe you must have some progress on the Between Worlds event too, since I think the new event it's related to the Misty Abiss.
If you're talking about the money from the bandits, I have absolutely no ideia of how to complete it. Everytime I just covered all the costs because I wasn't able to find them.
The other quest is something about a tailor wich you can solve by going to talk to Rose, in Bareshade.
I'm struggling a bit with the curse of lust event. I wanted to capture roushk so badly. I made a few saves so I can repeat it, but I can never get the part where I can capture him. I've read here that you can capture roushk on your first encounter but I don' t see that option anywhere.
First you need to build a cell in the MC house in the tools icon, you will need planks and diabosite, later you need reptile lure you get it after finish the task from the witch in the swamp at night. When fighting Roushk you will need to throw 5 reptile lures and then win by combat or teasing.
I think you need to talk to Othra about the lake in the lizard temple not the corrupted one, then she tells you about capture Roushk and bring him to the temple, after that the witch will give you the task at night.
I need help with this decision badly *major story spoilers*
So I’m at the oasis with Groth and Nameless, do we know what the results are if you submit to him or continue to fight back? I honestly wouldn’t be agonizing over this decision if not for what he’s shown at the temple, I am way to attached to the world and characters that have been beautifully developed to let that happen but also I’d be lying if I said that nameless wasn’t from a mythos I absolutely love, so yeah I really need some insight here, especially since the wiki isn’t up to date with the content. sure I can just save a file on this decision and come back to it later but that leaves me with potentially hours of grinding which I do not relish the idea of redoing.
Thus far, I have submitted to him. And without spoiling much I am still alive---BUT beware, you will receive sanity damage, so you might want to have full sanity at this time. It wont do any harm to increase INT just in case. I dont know what happens if you resist, and... I really want to place my faith in Nameless so whatever happens I will accept it <3.
I say this because at this moment, its impossible to tell what is Hyao planning to do about Nameless. We´ll see.
Also new Head Cannon xD. Guys, I might know why the character is called Nameless: during the book "at the mountain of madness", we learn thanks to Lake (at least thats how is called in the Spanish version) that the race, the children of Chthulu are exactly as is represented in Lustful Desires: winged creatures, a thicket of tentacles and well-built bodies.
Chances are, Nameless is one of these children, a Cthuli, and not Cthulhu itself. But yeah, he´s got similar abilites. Man I am dying to progress more in his story xD. So thats why he really lacks a name.
Also... I didnt involve Groth for 2 reasons:
1st: That could lead to a threesome, but I am not threesome guy.
2nd: For the sake of fixing the situation and gaining trust with the orcs, I need to do what is correct. Nameless might be telling the truth, but... just in case. After all, with Nameless you cant undo your decisions. (There is actually a way to do it, but i dont remember the details, involving something about the files. But nah, I´ll pass lol)
oh you can’t undo decisions with him? Welp I’m fubbernucked either way then lol I submitted the first time and then went through the scenes out of curiousity but then it was like “wait no I don’t want this” and I loaded up a save file so I could go with a more mid route combination of decisions (saying I want to serve but resist) so it was like still on the table? I don’t know man the creator for this game knows what the hell he’s doing though.
I’ll be the first to admit I browse these kind of games ALOT and I’ve never had one enrapture me to the point where every choice is such a difficult decision, do I love nameless? Hell yes. Do I love literally every other character in this game? Hell yes Logan Caleb Bernie and Rhot especially (I will say I wish there was more you could do with the alpha and beta after the swamp wolf event though but I wuv them too) so it’s kinda like just an internal conflict lol
I’ll be honest though before nameless revealed himself I absolutely DESPISED him with every fiber of my being because of a certain temple dream. But then he was hot and I was like “okay maaaaybe that’s excusable”
Yeah, I know what you mean. That was indeed disturbing. Then again, that was an illusion, he manipulated our minds as a way to show us what he can do. Since it wasnt a true physical slaughter... I am willing to give him a chance xD.
Only Hyao and time will tell us whether his speech about coexistence is true or not.
the junkyard entrance is found in the tunnels underneath Harold’s bar, you’ll need a source of light to explore em, which you can get from the lizard priestess if I remember correctly. As for gifts each character likes something different, Logan for example you can gift a tank top.
How do you talk to Harold about the caravan guards? Trying to do the bandit camp mission and the only thing it says now is to talk to him about it but there's no option to
Anyone knows if Hyao is planning on translating the game during the development stage? It would make more sense doing it by the end of the project, but I still need to ask.

tbh this sounds kinda fun, like imagine inviting 2 people who either hate or have a past together like Caleb and Bernard where they have nice chemistry or Feliar meeting with Viccoria and being like "NOPE NOPE NOPE!" or just leaving. maybe even inviting someone like Everett and Feliar and they just flirt and eventually sneak off and do some things... and we could maybe intervene :P
Yeah, the problem is that is inconsistent with that: for example the scene between Logan's wife and the wolf comes out of nowhere and only the Wolbauck has a failsafe if you click tease by mistake, but is better than nothing
But you can choose to watch or not the whole thing about the lumberjack's wife.
About the Wolbauck, from what I saw and my experience from 2 differente gameplays, if you're not used or have good reputation with a feral enemy, your teasing is unlikely to work. And they just tease you if you have a good rep with them.
But is not clear from the text that you're going to see a woman banged by wolves, it says only that there are sex noises and than surprises you with a wolf
It doesn't depend on good reputation with feral enemy but with how much bestiality you do. The wolbauck is the only feral animal that if you haven't done bestiality when you click tease says something like "you don't really want to do that", while in general if you fail to tease it says something like "you make this move but it hadn't effect on him"
The game should really warn you about what is ahead.
It makes sense the game allows you to tease wolfs in the beggining. It your first contact with a feral animal and the game probably use it to collect data from your preferences.
By the way, if you're not really into feral, choosing the tease option once won't do a thing, since the animals will not tease you back at least you have a good rep with them.
The problem is that with high stat you one-shot them making them horny and it's possible this count as bestiality action, but at least for me it's not a problem because I don't fight ferals anymore
yes, we will get sprites for them. Hyao plans to add a sprite/BG for everything that has either a placeholder or just a blank screen for them. however, as SrCole said it's not Hyao who makes them, so it takes a minute. plus, he needs funds to commission the artist's depending on the rates which during the pandemic feel higher than usual because funds are tight, so it's a little more complicated now.
How can i delete save files in mobile? Someone said to hover the cursor on the save file to delete it, but as you know there is no cursor in mobile, so how?

This game kept crashing for some unknown reasons. I checked my settings, memory space and such, everything is fine. I am on Android. It kept crashing.

That makes sense. I wouldn't really mind a month without content update if it means we would have a reworked interface. But a lot of people do.

I think it could have a gallery option on menu with all the CG's you discovered. It would make more sense.

yeah encouraged Logan isnt a werewolf so only Bernard is choose able.

question what am i supposed to do with these half plates ( air plate )? and is there a way to repair or merge these half plates
I don't remember exactly how, but you must repair them.
Try taking a look at the crafting menu or your book at home.
I think you just open the inventory and click one of the plates, if you have both half of the same plate they merge.

you can check for events in your quests.
For Bernards sickness you just have to go home and learn the recipe (bottom right)

no Rhot cannot be captured in the good route as his boss is after the corruption route is complete and Othra and Roushk are completely corrupted.

I can't seem to trigger Logan's "I owe you a beer" I've done all the requirements (1 heart, over 40 like, finished farm road, all Bareshade upgrades, helped him work, and seen the Barrel argument) maybe my rng sucks. Update .46.
where have you been going to trigger it? you gotta rest at your house at the time of 20:00 for 8 hours and he should show up then. if you're going to his place or your hut in the forest it won't trigger. if you're doing this entirely right then maybe some other requirement i can't come up with is incomplete or its a glitch, lets hope it's not a glitch as glitches are far more annoying.

I have a question about stats in this game.
So, I get Strength increases your damage. Does that also includes ranged weapons, or that only falls under the perception stat?
Does that include increasing its damage? What is actually throwing me off a bit is that it says that increasing perception stat increases the aim of ranged weapons but didn't specifically say it will increase the damage of ranged weapons.
As for the strength stat, it says it will increase damage during a battle but never specified that it's only exclusive to melee weapons.

Did you play in Normal Logan route and finished Trouble in den event? If you already done it, you just have to wait for a week. After you wait for a week, there "a chance" that Logan will visit you at your house, outside Bareshade, by night. If Logan don't visit you even you have wait for a week, just re-enter your house (just go outside and come back to a house) to reset your RNG.

no, the guest characters are Hyao's either Irl friends or online friends he wanted to include in the game, he has not had that as a reward for any patrons or anyone.

Groth is still at the orc village, but we can't do anything with him unless you let the nameless take over his mind so he fucks you essentially as a puppet of the nameless.

Am I blocked from all Logan content if I saved Bernard instead of Logan? Logan and my herbalist never progress past working out together.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think not. I think you'll just not be able to get 1 of the Logan's hearts, since you obtain one choosing to go after him and stay with him in the woods.
I think you can still make the other events though, but I'm not sure since in my 2 gameplays, I choosed to save him instead of Bernard.
from some of Logan's stuff yeah, your locked out but other werewolf stuff your still able to do. like the main plotline for him I believe is still possible you just don't get a couple of scenes and some fun flavor text later after some certain events.

I read something about placing an Air Plate somewhere, but I'm not sure where and not sure if it's really the Air Plate.
What I can tell you is that, if you put a Water Plate down there, you'll flood that room above the water and you'll no longer be able to collect the item.
I know because I was dumb enough to do it.

Hi, I played the game again recently and I'm already able to start the new event (I didn't though).
I think you'll be able to do it if you finished the Full Moon event with all the parts (except Caleb) and I think you need to have at least 1 heart with him.
For me, I have the option when I go to Sawmill to "Skip Time (Logan's Event)" after done those things.
Maybe you must have some progress on the Between Worlds event too, since I think the new event it's related to the Misty Abiss.

The other quest is something about a tailor wich you can solve by going to talk to Rose, in Bareshade.

I'm struggling a bit with the curse of lust event. I wanted to capture roushk so badly. I made a few saves so I can repeat it, but I can never get the part where I can capture him. I've read here that you can capture roushk on your first encounter but I don' t see that option anywhere.
First you need to build a cell in the MC house in the tools icon, you will need planks and diabosite, later you need reptile lure you get it after finish the task from the witch in the swamp at night. When fighting Roushk you will need to throw 5 reptile lures and then win by combat or teasing.

I think you need to talk to Othra about the lake in the lizard temple not the corrupted one, then she tells you about capture Roushk and bring him to the temple, after that the witch will give you the task at night.

I need help with this decision badly *major story spoilers*
So I’m at the oasis with Groth and Nameless, do we know what the results are if you submit to him or continue to fight back? I honestly wouldn’t be agonizing over this decision if not for what he’s shown at the temple, I am way to attached to the world and characters that have been beautifully developed to let that happen but also I’d be lying if I said that nameless wasn’t from a mythos I absolutely love, so yeah I really need some insight here, especially since the wiki isn’t up to date with the content. sure I can just save a file on this decision and come back to it later but that leaves me with potentially hours of grinding which I do not relish the idea of redoing.
Thus far, I have submitted to him. And without spoiling much I am still alive---BUT beware, you will receive sanity damage, so you might want to have full sanity at this time. It wont do any harm to increase INT just in case. I dont know what happens if you resist, and... I really want to place my faith in Nameless so whatever happens I will accept it <3.
I say this because at this moment, its impossible to tell what is Hyao planning to do about Nameless. We´ll see.

Guys, I might know why the character is called Nameless: during the book "at the mountain of madness", we learn thanks to Lake (at least thats how is called in the Spanish version) that the race, the children of Chthulu are exactly as is represented in Lustful Desires: winged creatures, a thicket of tentacles and well-built bodies.
Chances are, Nameless is one of these children, a Cthuli, and not Cthulhu itself. But yeah, he´s got similar abilites. Man I am dying to progress more in his story xD. So thats why he really lacks a name.
Also... I didnt involve Groth for 2 reasons:
1st: That could lead to a threesome, but I am not threesome guy.
2nd: For the sake of fixing the situation and gaining trust with the orcs, I need to do what is correct. Nameless might be telling the truth, but... just in case. After all, with Nameless you cant undo your decisions. (There is actually a way to do it, but i dont remember the details, involving something about the files. But nah, I´ll pass lol)

I’ll be the first to admit I browse these kind of games ALOT and I’ve never had one enrapture me to the point where every choice is such a difficult decision, do I love nameless? Hell yes. Do I love literally every other character in this game? Hell yes Logan Caleb Bernie and Rhot especially (I will say I wish there was more you could do with the alpha and beta after the swamp wolf event though but I wuv them too) so it’s kinda like just an internal conflict lol

the junkyard entrance is found in the tunnels underneath Harold’s bar, you’ll need a source of light to explore em, which you can get from the lizard priestess if I remember correctly. As for gifts each character likes something different, Logan for example you can gift a tank top.

I really appreciate how the game waits to see if you're ok with feral content since a lot of people are not.
For example, the Wolf art changes if the game understands you're ok with it to show their dicks.
Yeah, the problem is that is inconsistent with that: for example the scene between Logan's wife and the wolf comes out of nowhere and only the Wolbauck has a failsafe if you click tease by mistake, but is better than nothing
But you can choose to watch or not the whole thing about the lumberjack's wife.
About the Wolbauck, from what I saw and my experience from 2 differente gameplays, if you're not used or have good reputation with a feral enemy, your teasing is unlikely to work. And they just tease you if you have a good rep with them.
But is not clear from the text that you're going to see a woman banged by wolves, it says only that there are sex noises and than surprises you with a wolf
It doesn't depend on good reputation with feral enemy but with how much bestiality you do. The wolbauck is the only feral animal that if you haven't done bestiality when you click tease says something like "you don't really want to do that", while in general if you fail to tease it says something like "you make this move but it hadn't effect on him"

It makes sense the game allows you to tease wolfs in the beggining. It your first contact with a feral animal and the game probably use it to collect data from your preferences.
By the way, if you're not really into feral, choosing the tease option once won't do a thing, since the animals will not tease you back at least you have a good rep with them.
The problem is that with high stat you one-shot them making them horny and it's possible this count as bestiality action, but at least for me it's not a problem because I don't fight ferals anymore

I think we will. But, for what I know, Hyao is not the one behind the arts. Other people are helping him with it.
I think it not something we could judge or demand. Is should not be something easy to do and the artists have their own lifes.

yes, we will get sprites for them. Hyao plans to add a sprite/BG for everything that has either a placeholder or just a blank screen for them. however, as SrCole said it's not Hyao who makes them, so it takes a minute. plus, he needs funds to commission the artist's depending on the rates which during the pandemic feel higher than usual because funds are tight, so it's a little more complicated now.

How can i delete save files in mobile? Someone said to hover the cursor on the save file to delete it, but as you know there is no cursor in mobile, so how?
Go into android/data/com.r3nn.ld/files/saves and delete your save file.
There will be files with numbers in the names. The first number means the page, the second number is the slot
1-1 means page 1 and 1 save slot and etc
