I liked this game so much that I have already started translating it into French (I'm doing this for myself and I won't make it public without your permission).
To translate it, I directly edit the “.gb” file using a hexadecimal editor.
It is very long and tedious. Ideally, I would need the GBStudio sources, it would be much simpler, but I would understand if you don't want to share them.
Otherwise, I would need the font file (ascii.png from memory in GB Studio), because I would need to move characters around to get access to some that are useful in French (ô ï ù é è ê ç …).

Great art, and some decent jokes (the self-referential stuff kinda fell flat with me, but otherwise I dig the sense of humor)! The combat isn't really my style, so I had a hard time getting into the game. Overall, though, it's very impressive!
The game is very fun and I have been hooked since I started playing it, I have memorized the game of resident evil remake for the NGC from playing it so much, I already know the story and it amuses me to see the changes in the dialogues of the characters, it is quite a new experience.
I'm glad you enjoyed the differences I added, it was always my intention to add my own irreverent twist on such an accustomed game. Thank you for playing!
I think the graphics are fine. In the case of dialogues, I would set it so that it does not write out the text continuously, but appears immediately, so that it would not appear that you are drawing the avatars of the characters from a character set.Nice work!
I really wanted to like this. The graphics are fantastic achievement! however I could not deal with the absolutely cringe, childish, stupid dialogue. I had to stop playing before I even entered the mansion because the dialogue was so insipidly pointless and repellant. It’s not cute or funny or witty. You had a good thing going and you ran it into the ground for bottom-of-the-barrel reddit “humour”.
perhaps someone will mod it someday and replace the script with something that isn’t puerile and asinine, I’d play that.
Thanks for the feedback. The comedy style was a choice to make it more distinctive over the original by leaning more towards horror-comedy.
I knew that some players would think the opening dragged a little, so I included the option to skip the opening section via interacting with Barry. You will find that the dialogue is minimal for the remainder of the game.
(You can even skip straight to roaming around the mansion by using a debug space next to Barry.)
