Just played through some of the updated content. This is still going so well to me. Especially in how it feels so very realistic. The scenarios and the conversations are natural. The world of the game really envelops you. There are so many interesting characters here. So many. Their interactions really make me hope we keep seeing them all develop well.
I usually do not go for professor routes but this was done so differently. You got me intrigued for real. Also this class. As a gay with a creative writing degree, I would have loved Will's class. The tree metaphor. I would have been living for that opening to a class.
Like most games, I have found A favorite minor character who we don't even get to see. Cherish!! We stan Cherish in this house.
Any playthrough I land on I want my character to be friends with Dominic. Besties. For every playthrough. Love this character. But don't want to flirt with him right now.
Riley looks so good in his day 2 outfit. I have a scene from him I can;t unock and it's driving me crazy so I will probably try again soon. Love seeing more of his personality in this update. Marco too actually. The bicolors on the shirt he was wearing. I was like yes I see you. Need that shirt.
Liked getting to see more of Owen. Very intrigued by him. Love his sheer shirts. Very my style to be honest. Evan is A tad annoying but gives me Riley from Degrassi vibes with his look. Definite cutie. Need more Asher. He's my favorite. He still is. I adore him. Excited to see more of Isaiah and Alex in a future update as well because I'm intrigued by them. Excited to play more as this develops.
Ah okay! To unlock that image, you need to hang out with Riley on the afternoon of day 2 and focus on the sexual aspect of his first time. So the following choices once you ask Riley if you two can talk:
1. Tell him about the assignment (or go through the "Ask about his day" sequence)
OMG. Thank you. That's Really hot was the one dialogue I never played all the way through. Couldn't figure it out. Any hint for the second gallery spot in duos and trios.
Sure! The duo/trio CGs from the end of day one were locked behind whether or not you said you thought all characters included in that CG were hot. The duo in that CG is Owen & Julian, so if you click the "he's hot" options during their intro at orientation you'll be able to unlock the CG during the fantasy section at the end of day 1.

In all seriousness, you've already got me, hook, line and sinker.
I only got to the end of the second day's lessons (just after helping Evan with his email issues), so I haven't explored everything there is to offer yet - I know I'm missing about a dozen CGs. But, like. I have to stop myself because I'm enjoying it too much, because I know I'll get heartbroken once I exhaust it all.
The dialogue between the characters feels really natural, and the pure diversity of the characters, personality-wise, just grabbed at me. It feels like there'll be someone for everyone. And the character models are really high quality, too.
Obviously, this is going to be a really ambitious project - I don't know how long the game is going to be, but there are at least fifteen characters here, not counting for Connor himself, or what I assume are hinted poly/throuple routes. So while I eagerly await an update, please, try not to burn yourself out or overwork yourself.
This project is definitely ambitious and I'm working to find a good balance between getting out regular updates and not overwhelming myself. It's a tricky tightrope to traverse and one I'm still figuring out for sure. I do have a very solid plan, though, so although it'll take me awhile to realize it, I think it's doable while maintaining the same quality level :)

I use Daz 3D, the main assets are from their store and the adult parts are from Renderotica. Image editing is done in GIMP, and the game is made with Ren'Py. Hope that helps :)

Wondering how much we will really be able to experience things with each of them as the story goes on. Loved the dynamics of the group convo with Riley, Marco, and Matt in my 4th playthrough. These are some really well-rounded characters. Also the apps lol. I wonder about the apps.

Hi there! I just wanted to say that I really liked playing this game, which surprised me! I usually don't like 3D art and models in visual novels, but I ended up really liking the artwork here; it all looks great! The writing is also very good; simple but deep and engaging, and I love the fact that all the personalities are so different. My favorites were Matt, Marco and Owen; I also thought NC17 was gorgeous, but his personality and fashion choices threw me off xD
I have 2 questions: despite the writing being engaging enough, I felt the void of there not being any music or sound effects; will those be added later? Also, I'm missing the 2 first Marco CGs; how do you get them? I just can't seem to do it...

I definitely plan to add music and sound effects as the game develops. For these first updates my focus has been on the writing and art, but I also absolutely feel the void of no sounds and would like to add them soon. I've already found some good resources I may use.
To unlock Marco's first two CGs, choose to go check out the dorms instead of going to Matt's apartment. When you first speak with Riley for the first time, choose to go hang out in your room instead of taking Riley's tour.
When you go to your room, you'll run into Marco before he heads out. You'll unlock his intro image and then have the opportunity to fantasize about him, which are the two CGs you're missing :)
Ugh, I was already stuck between Riley (adorkable factor) and Matt (best friend factor), and now, you throw in two hot "daddy" professors into the mix to further complicate my decision.
But seriously, great job with the new chapter. I'm really enjoying this VN because it's sexy and smart with substance, and I appreciate that you can choose whether you're attracted to the men you meet. Many are so attractive that it's hard to choose from, not that I'm complaining. I can also now see why the game is only a couple of months story time because we're still on the first day, and that alone takes a bit. (Which is a good thing.)

I'm not sure if those fantasies are accurate representations of the guys true personalities but I really enjoyed seeing a different side to some of them, particularly Julian, he really surpised me and instantly became my favorite.
9 of the guys are romanceable. I think it'll be obvious after playing the first part of Day Two who they are. The non-romanceable guys will still have storylines, though, they just won't be receptive to romance if you ask them about it. They each have their own reasons for it not being the right time.
I'll also say that if there's a character that lots of people want to romance but can't, I'm open to adding that in down the line!

I'm an IF writer as well, and I usually bounce right off of visual novels for various reasons, but this has really good writing and character development, manages to be horny but not stupid - huge plus, and the renders are pretty amazing to the point I was like I don't know if I would have time to pursue everyone who is interesting! I look forward to seeing more in the future!
The art is the reason I haven't gone hard into VN. I also investigated DAZ3D and what you said about the expense and time to locate individual resources - mesh, skins, etc - to make them look high-quality and not all like the same person is completely true. I finally hired someone to do a few renders for one of my games, so I understand what a feat this is you are pulling off.
I appreciate that! Yeah, I spent a lot of time making and remaking character models to try to get them as high quality as I can. Matt in particular went through at least a dozen iterations before I landed on one I liked. Most asset creators also focus on female figures/hair/clothes/etc , so creating a cast of 17 male characters without the sameness you mention has been a challenge for sure. But I think it's been worth the effort for this particular project.
Yeah, I needed two females and two males rendered. My straight artist friend had probably 30 variations of female nipples to offer, then I'm like, "can we put chest hair on one of the guys?" and he goes "uhhhh?" The next day he came up with a nicer one - I think he bought a new chest hair mesh to help me because what he had at first looked like someone drew it on with a sharpie!
And it is thoroughly appreciated. As this is a new project the anticipation is killing me, love it so far. The only negatives i see are: Possible for guys to not the the love they deserve (smirk), and rushed storyline. But I trust you have an amazing storyline planned! :D
I made an account specifically to comment here and say that I am really loving this game. Everything looks so clean, the writing is really natural and realistic — I just can't say enough good things about it. Cannot wait for the next installments!

I just discovered this game today via jtommrug's Collection here on itch, and as a fellow writer, it's right up my alley because I love reading and writing college stories. I've enjoyed visual novels like "Bound to College" and "Straight?" and really look forward to this one. The guys in yours are all very attractive, and as a romance fan, I'm so glad there are romance routes with the option to be a monogamous guy (or a big slut, lol). And it's even better that the MC is a writer attending an art school!
By the way, you mentioned there being one in-game semester. Will that be all for the story, or will you eventually complete both semesters of freshman year? And how about the rest of the four college years? It's not a deal breaker either way, just asking.

I'm so glad you like it! The game covers two months total. This is for a couple reasons, one being that's how the story ended up when I outlined the structure. The other is the feasibility of what I can do solo. There are a lot of branching choices, which means lots of writing, coding, and art creation. I think the game will end up a good length, and I think it'll also have a good amount of replayability.
I do have ideas for a follow-up game with a new MC set in the same place during the same year, and the character I have in mind will be in this game. But that's a ways down the line. I need to finish this one first :)
I'm currently planning to work on an Android version after I finish part 3 of day one. I'm working on part 3 right now. Once part 3 is uploaded here on itch.io, there should be an Android version as well, though it may be delayed due to testing.
Do you intend to make another game in the future? Why do I one type of game in mind could be a soldier game then there would be other soldiers, it could be men and women and there would also be a choice of main characters with male and female for more players to play. like my idea.
I would like to make another game after this one, but that won't be for a while. The game I'd make would focus on one gay male main character and wouldn't involve soldiers.
I would like to do localization into other languages, but I don't currently have the funds to hire translators. Maybe at some point in the future though!
Hi! Probably just a Mac version issue but while doing the dorms tour (at the showers) the options and pictures get all frizzy and you can no longer read the texts. Looks promising, though! ;-)

This looks so promising. A unique premise, beautiful artwork, intelligent writing with a dash of humour, and most importantly, an interesting array of characters with great promise for development. So, the MC is going to be a bit of a slut and sleep around with the boys? Bring it on! ;)
I am especially interested in Riley's route. I fell in love with the guy almost instantly. (It's not just those amazing cakes, although that is a wonderful bonus :p). Cheerful, extroverted, sweet'n'caring, loves to be in the limelight, not to mention a total dork. Sighhh, Danny, thank you for introducing me to Riley. I so look forward to the updates.
I'm so glad Riley is your fave :) I was writing some new scenes including him the other day and it's so much fun balancing his excitability with his bashfulness.
I like Riley's strange dichotomy in character and am really interested in knowing about the dynamics of his budding relationship with Connor. I know it's too early, and we haven't got to know any of the boys that well, but I personally feel that he is the perfect match for Connor. Matt may seem like he's the One but thinking alike may not always be a good thing. (Sorry, just thinking out loud, don't mind me!).

Definitely agree with the above comment here. Riley, Matt, and Asher are all hard at war for the best boy slot for me.
Haha, I'd love to make everyone romanceable, but creating full romantic relationships for all 17 guys is currently a bit beyond my scope :)

And it is thoroughly appreciated. As this is a new project the anticipation is killing me, love it so far. The only negatives i see are: Possible for guys to not the the love they deserve (smirk), and rushed storyline. But I trust you have an amazing storyline planned! :D

I just discovered this game today via jtommrug's Collection here on itch, and as a fellow writer, it's right up my alley because I love reading and writing college stories. I've enjoyed visual novels like "Bound to College" and "Straight?" and really look forward to this one. The guys in yours are all very attractive, and as a romance fan, I'm so glad there are romance routes with the option to be a monogamous guy (or a big slut, lol). And it's even better that the MC is a writer attending an art school!
By the way, you mentioned there being one in-game semester. Will that be all for the story, or will you eventually complete both semesters of freshman year? And how about the rest of the four college years? It's not a deal breaker either way, just asking.

Edit: I played the little demo you have, and I loved it. I tried all the options I could, and I'm even more excited to continue. I'm stuck between Matt and Riley, because of the best friend and writer factors, respectively. Gah, can't wait for more!
I'm so glad you like it! The game covers two months total. This is for a couple reasons, one being that's how the story ended up when I outlined the structure. The other is the feasibility of what I can do solo. There are a lot of branching choices, which means lots of writing, coding, and art creation. I think the game will end up a good length, and I think it'll also have a good amount of replayability.
I do have ideas for a follow-up game with a new MC set in the same place during the same year, and the character I have in mind will be in this game. But that's a ways down the line. I need to finish this one first :)
When will the Android version will be available
I'm currently planning to work on an Android version after I finish part 3 of day one. I'm working on part 3 right now. Once part 3 is uploaded here on itch.io, there should be an Android version as well, though it may be delayed due to testing.
I would like to make another game after this one, but that won't be for a while. The game I'd make would focus on one gay male main character and wouldn't involve soldiers.
I would like to do localization into other languages, but I don't currently have the funds to hire translators. Maybe at some point in the future though!

Hi! Probably just a Mac version issue but while doing the dorms tour (at the showers) the options and pictures get all frizzy and you can no longer read the texts. Looks promising, though! ;-)

Yes, you'll be able to choose :) The guys have their own preferences as well, though most will be verse in some manner.

This looks so promising. A unique premise, beautiful artwork, intelligent writing with a dash of humour, and most importantly, an interesting array of characters with great promise for development. So, the MC is going to be a bit of a slut and sleep around with the boys? Bring it on! ;)
I am especially interested in Riley's route. I fell in love with the guy almost instantly. (It's not just those amazing cakes, although that is a wonderful bonus :p). Cheerful, extroverted, sweet'n'caring, loves to be in the limelight, not to mention a total dork. Sighhh, Danny, thank you for introducing me to Riley. I so look forward to the updates.
I'm so glad Riley is your fave :) I was writing some new scenes including him the other day and it's so much fun balancing his excitability with his bashfulness.
I like Riley's strange dichotomy in character and am really interested in knowing about the dynamics of his budding relationship with Connor. I know it's too early, and we haven't got to know any of the boys that well, but I personally feel that he is the perfect match for Connor. Matt may seem like he's the One but thinking alike may not always be a good thing. (Sorry, just thinking out loud, don't mind me!).
