That final boss is pretty brutal.

I think one would need to save up many caged rats and throwing weapons to deal the necessary damage.

I'm thinking of suggesting some extended rules. Would need to play it a bit further, though.

Hello! I got this game as part of the bundle for Palestine aid back in June, and was trying to access the weblink but couldnt. I get a pop-up dialogue that says 'key is owned'. Not sure what that means?
I'm going through the pdf rn and the game seems great!! I think the weblink would work better for me so pls let me know if there's a fix

Printed and gave this a play. Really nice to see a physical submission to the jam!

I liked the way allies and enemies worked - rolling a die and seeing which option you get. My preference would have been for the main hero to work like that too.

Nice work!

Just played a game as the rogue. It was a lot of fun, and felt like a good adventure. I've played several "draw cards to go through a dungeon" games, and this was certainly one of the better ones. Well done!

Thanks! I'm glad you had a good time with it :)

any chance of a tabletop simulator mod?

I’ve not made anything in TTS before, but I’ll look into it once I’ve finished making a better web version :)

Can you clarify how is "turn 4" interpreted on card actions? Turn over four and choose one which to encounter, or is it "skip 3, encounter 4th", or it is just a way to choose the order in which the next four are encountered?

The “skip 3, encounter 4th” is what I intended, but if you want to play it as stopping to play on an earlier card I think that is fine too (if it makes sense. If you took teleported or took a different route, you don’t see those cards - but if you are just travelling quickly then you could opt to stop.)

tbh whichever you think is more fun is fine, I know I wrote the rules but I’m not gonna rules-lawyer if someone wants to play a different way :)

What a lovely looking game Sophie! I really love such card based solitaire designs and the graphical design is wonderful. I changed your pdf to get 3x3 cards on every page to be able to print it in play card size. I'll assemble it this weekend and give it a try. :)

Thanks for the nice comment! <3

Just as a heads-up on printing, I think I made the pdf RGB (not CMYK) and it uses large dark patches in some places so it probably isn’t printer-friendly rn. I am thinking about making a more printer-friendly version, but if you want that it may be a wait since I’m gonna take a little break to recover from 7DRL :)

Oh it wasn't difficult to make it printer friendly by myself, no worries (I simply transformed your pdf into a new pdf by printing 3x3 cards on every page). Enjoy your break! :)
