Introducing In the Margins: a meta solo journaling game

Maybe you have played A Visit to San Sibilia, or maybe another solo journaling game like Anamnesis, Alone Among the Stars or one of the Wretched & Alone games.

The resulting journal or log is already a great memento, but what if you could play another game with your journal?

A bookmark sized meta solo journaling game

You found a journal and you have opinions. Make your mark.

In the Margins is a solo journaling game in which you play someone who found a mysterious journal and is leaving their comments in the margins of the journal.

The pdf contains the front and back for a bookmark the size of an A5 paper cut in half length wise. For accessibility I’ve also added a Markdown version of the game.

In the Margins was created for the #scissorsandgluejam, in which we invite indie TTRPG creators to create a physical TTRPG zine: Draw, print, cut, glue, sew and assemble, and make a tabletop role-playing game zine!
