Happy January, y'all! I got a few news items for The Selkie Envoy.
This is a small update, consisting of attribution additions, reformatting, and a whole bunch of copyediting. Overall, the game content is the same, but the prose is tighter.
I want to make sure I shout out AirkSeablade for making a full editing pass of the module and giving me a thorough revision of the text.
Check out his TTRPG, Shepherds. Like Ironsworn and The Selkie Envoy, it's a Powered by the Apocalypse project worth checking out for its take on JRPG inspirations and hope in gaming.
Technically, the sale doesn't start until tomorrow, but I'm impatient.
Itch.io is running its Lunar New Year 2022 sale from January 26th to February 3rd, and I will be joining it.
Check out the Selkie and the Moon sale and be ready when it goes 40% off, an all-time low price of $2.99! A similar discount will also run on DriveThruRPG.
And speaking of DriveThruRPG, here's a belated announcement of the bundle that The Selkie Envoy is a part of RPG Writer Workshop Fall 2021 Misc from the Storytelling Collective.
This bundle comprises the successful cohort of the November 2020 section of the RPG Writer Workshop, specifically the projects on the "Misc" path.
For $4.99 (the full price of Selkie), you can get The Selkie Envoy and two other games: Escape Clause for the OpenD6 system, and The Curse of Beauregard Manor for Fate Condensed. Three games at the price of one, and it's exciting to be a part of this bundle.
No matter where you buy my module, I'm ever thankful for your support.
Hope you enjoy the rest of January!
