Hello!
It has been a long time since the last development log and today we are happy to inform you that Mannequin is now also available on Steam! Based on the several feedback that we’ve received in the past, Steam distribution is particularly useful for those who doesn’t want too many launchers on their system and also those who wanted to support the project but has limited payment method options.
If you have supported this project before on itch.io, you should have received a Steam key via the e-mail address that is registered with your previous purchase. If you cannot find it, do not forget to check your spam box also, as we have received notice about it happening.
Another thing we would like to talk about today is the progress of the latest big update that is previously planned for this month (July). Unfortunately, there are still a lot of things that still needs ironing out, so we have moved the update back to around week 2 of August. As previously stated before, we are planning to retouch the entire template components for a more standardized art style, and adding several requested features such as:
We are working round the clock to finish this update as soon as possible. After the update has successfully rolled out, we will have more things to share, so please look forward to that.
As always, thank you very much for your continued support. Stay safe, stay creative, and see you in the next update!
P.S. You can find our Steam store page here. Going forward, new itch.io supporters of the project can directly get Steam keys via the itch.io website by following these procedures. Mac versions are not available via Steam as of right now due to technical reasons, but we're working on it so it'll be available in the next sstable update!
