This project is about creating bandit characters for a game.
Iβm still working on it, but the first model is finished,
so I wanted to share what went right, what went wrong, and what I learned so far.
β What Went Right
- Finished the first bandit model in Blender.
- Kept a low poly, single texture style as usual.
- Workflow in Blender felt smooth once the style was decided.
- Learned that I can finish models fast if I donβt sleep π
β What Went Wrong
- The character doesnβt look like a bandit yet.
- Design needs more personality and a stronger silhouette.
- Left weapon work for last, which slowed progress.
- Some parts feel too clean for a bandit.
π What Iβm Working On Next
- Pushing the bandit look (clothes, attitude, props).
- Creating and polishing weapons.
- Testing the model inside Unity.
- Creating more bandits after this one.
π What I Learned
- Finishing one complete model is better than starting many.
- Silhouette and style matter more than small details.
- Low poly + one texture is still my favorite workflow.
- Sleep is optional… but probably not recommended.
One bandit is complete. More are coming.
