I need help :c, I've been playing for a few days now and it hasn't caused me any problems when running it, today when I try to play for more than 10 minutes it crashes and closes.
I've already tried uninstalling and installing it repeatedly and it doesn't solve anything.
When I launch the game, all I get is a black screen with the cursor. I can hear sounds when I move the cursor but it's still just a black screen. I've deleted and redownloaded the game three times already. There has to be another fix. I don't want a refund, I want the game to work.
Okay I got it to work by doing Windows + R, dragging the game file to the window that opens, entering --rendering-driver opengl3 right after, and hitting enter. So the full command prompt should be something like:
"C:\Users\Name\Folder\That's not my neighbor.exe" --rendering-driver opengl3

This will probably be my last video for this game until they add more content at a later date but I love this game so much. I enjoyed all of my time with it. Great work!
This game was super fun to play! The only thing I would change/add is give the player the ability to move the tabs around so you could have the apartment folder on one side and something else on the other :)
I hope the Dev reads this i notice their is a app version of your game on ios. if this is not your doing i suggest you look into it as when i played it constant adds every time i tapp.
I truly love this game but I've noticed a few problems.
In the "record" menu and the level summary, "Doppels you allow in" should be "Doppels you allowed in"
Work Accident achievement image is missing a scar on chin
Clicking "go back" in the phone when unable to actually go back shows an outline around the element
Clicking on most menu buttons shows an outline around the button element
In the intro instructions, "watching" is misspelt as "whatching"
In the intro instructions, "isn't" is misspelt as "is'nt"
Text can block players from using the phone
Text can block player from questioning an individual
Cheek is misspelt on Elenois and Selenne Sverchzt's appearance descriptions
You can cancel an emergency, yet the button doesn't appear to be clickable after starting the emergency
Opening the phone causes opened folder and the checklist to disappear requiring the user to open them again
Pressing the emergency button changes the look of the emergency buttons glass lid
Occasionally, the top right of the screen becomes unclickable (I don't know what causes it, seems to happen more when alt tabbing)
You can close the emergency button's lid despite it not appearing to be clickable
In one of the lines when questioning a subject about their appearance "is" is misspelt as "it's"
During an emergency, pausing and unpausing causes today's list to disappear. It will reappear when you open the phone

You can press the emergency button again after the phone is up, if you do this while calling the D.D.D. the security window will be forced closed instead of open
The "no answer" dialogue box will stay forever if you close the phone before it appears. It will disappear if you open and close the phone

Some people don't know how to use rotary telephones, could be a good idea to explain how to use it
Steel Memory achievement is too easy to get if you just kill everyone
I believe the person who made the games first langue isn't English hench the mistakes and it is in the early stages, im sure they know and are working on fixing it, you are being very critical of someone on a public forum and maybe talking to them privately would be a better idea than sending them a huge list of everything that they have done wrong, it can stop someone having the motivation to even want to keep going with the game. You may think you are being helpful but it just seemed kind of rude to me.
How to work the rotary phone: click on the phone to open the rotary dial, then click and hold the number you want to dial and then drag it in a circular motion to the grey pin on the right side. So if you need a 9, hold the 9 and then drag your mouse in a bow from left ro right
Im very disaapointed, i been watching so many people play this game and when I finally get it, I can't play it. It is just a black screen and the cursor and background sounds. No Images whatsoever. Pretty Disappointed
The game is beautiful, but if I transferred it to a global platform like Steam, the thing would be better. In order for me to receive every update, there is no need for me to come every day and check whether an update has come or not for the game. Steam will have an automatic update after its official release.

I understand you wanting to charge money for your game, but can you please put on other platforms like Steam? Reason is that itch.io doesn't accept my country's money. And yes, I'm aware they won't budge when asked to give other currencies options. They only care about dollars and will stay that way, it's a great platform to advertise indie games but a horrible one to sell. Lack of broad vision and all that.
This game was such a great combination of Papers, Please and I'm on Observation Duty, I was very suprised. Looking forward to future updates of the game for sure!

1. Since the neighbors mention visitors, i would really spice things up if non-residents like relatives or delivery men wanted to go through, making to check them too if they are not doppelgangers.
2. You probably are planning on this, but i really want to see a story type game mode, letting you to know more about the neighbors personally through several days, cause im really interested to know more about these characters.
3. This is a stretch, but it would be cool to have an emergency gun which we can use in dire situations like a doppelganger trying to break in, or one of them holding a neighbor hostage.
4. I dont know if there exists more creatures in this games world other than doppelgangers, but it would be hilairious if a straight up friendly skeleton, or something similar, wanted to visit a neighbor and is not a threat.
These are just some silly ideas i had in mind but needless to say, im really excited to see what you are planning to add to this game!

Theres quite a long list under the store page or whatever you'd like to call it, theres fixes to most things there for your problem it says...
"If the game is constantly black out just delete it and download again."
