YAY my first canceled game!
Just wanna say THANK YOU for playing EXCUSE ME SIR and showing interest in this collab. Out of all the games I've released on Itch (including FAITH and FAITH Chapter II) this was the one that generated the most buzz and engagement. We got some great feedback from players and were really excited about crafting the full game into a surreal horror experience that y'all would love.
In about two months EXCUSE ME SIR got over 325 thousand page views and nearly 68 thousand downloads. For reference, FAITH Chapter I got 487 thousand page views and 102 thousand downloads over a period of five years.
Unfortunately Molly decided to drop out of working on the project, and without her we don't really have a game anymore. So it looks like the game is canceled.
I'm sorry y'all! I was confident this could have been a successful project and I really wanted to incorporate all the feedback we got to make an awesome full game. I'm in contact with another content creator who does surreal and slightly creepy videos and I've wanted to do a game with them for a while, so hopefully we'll have a new project to announce soon!

No reason given for a crucial team member leaving
She gave her reasons privately so I'm leaving it to her if she wants to publicly give her reasons or not.

Thats a shame, hopefully the current game can be remade into something else tho! From what i saw it looked really cool :) Looking forward to any other projects ya make!
