heyy! i've been enjoying playing this game but after i went to the person with a mask's house it keep saying not responding. i tried to leave the game and play it again but it doesnt work:(
IT ALR WORKS:3 and just finished the game yesterday! i just have to re download it again on steam bcs i download it in this website. luckily my save is still there so i dont need to play it again from the start
I encountered a bug, a visual one, and not that affects the gameplay though. The pool at Ms. Knives' doesn't have any floating candles, when it's clearly saying that there is one on the dialogue.
HELP I CANT FIND THE WAY OUT OF THE MAZE, the one with the flower petals, the maze is already stressing me out as is with the whole hiding and jumpscare to death, idk how much longer i can keep redoing and exploring the maze, can someone help me?
An invisible timer counts down to Primal's attack. Hide in a bush and sit there for like 5 seconds each time you have an opportunity (I believe, hiding counts timer up instead of down).
I also don't run in the place, but haven't checked whether running has any effect .
Hey Leef, or anyone in the comments. I downloaded the new version of the game coming from the demo, and once I run the game it shows the saves from my demo, although they do not work. Perhaps a bug? If the game was not intended to transfer demo save files, then this is something that shouldn't happen, otherwise if so then this is a bug I am assuming. Idk but honestly i wanna continue from my demo saves fr.

Hey Leef 6010! Love this whole series so far it's become one of my favorite JRPG style games. One little issue though, My save data from an earlier version of the game became obsolete but not corrupted. I tried to hex edit the saves and noticed the saving system was completely different. If there's anyway I could get my old saves back that would be nice but I already beat the game so I wouldn't mind resetting.

Collect at least10 coins (there are 11 total before the "Point of No Return", which is the end of "Forbidden Area"), buy "All the fish" from Alba, throw all of the fish (fish x99) into the Central Tree (a mirror in the Tree is in fact a door, but you need to visit "Red's Treehouse" for MC to be able to check closely). Then, proceed with the Fairy Ring area as usual. At the end Aoi will find your fish scattered around the Mouth and throw it all in for a good measure. Turns out, Lacie has bought just enough fish!
The ones you are missing are most likely the ones in the locked area. Not the first topmost path, but follow the petals further to the right until the second one — up and to the left — and the third one — the exit path, but once you see the bush in front of you, go left. Also follow the path to the immediate right as you enter. Once you get them, you have to turn back out, or you can never return.
Hey Leef, I’m loving your game so far, but I’ve encountered a rather unfortunate bug. In the first dialogue with Spider, I never receive a lighter, which becomes a great issue later on. After getting stuck at the fireplace, I tried resetting my save to the dialogue again and repeated the encounter. Nothing I tried worked. If possible, a fix would be awesome! Thank you for working so hard on your game, and it’s a shame a bug happened while I was playing the game
I just found on a Steam forum: Unseal all objects then talk to Spider (to unseal the mirror simply interact with it from your inventory). After that head to the room above the room you got chased by that scary woman. You'll see 6 layouts, interact with them and make sure the object order is: Mirror, Book, Rag, Foot, Knife. Interact with the 6th layout and receive your lighter.
1) We never removed any translations. 2) We're aware that some people are hoping to translate Paper Lily soon - we're fixing the initial bugs and typos before sending out the translation files like we did with Project Kat. This is because translations would break if we fix typos or change a word/sentence here and there, which would be inconvenient for the translators. Please be patient, you will be able to translate the game into whatever language you want <3 3) We want people to play our game, so there's no reason for us to remove or block translations.

In Project Kat, the language selection menu was not removed. In Paper Lily Chapter 1, the language selection menu never existed, because it was not translated to other languages yet. Nothing was removed.
To translate Paper Lily, you need the translation files. For Chapter 1, we didn't send out those files yet - this is because we anticipated a large number of changes for v1.1.0. We didn't want translators to have to work twice.

I need help, I'm stuck in the rail tracks mini game thingy and I got a train ticket with an image of a skull on it....I think its supposed to be a hint to choose the path that you are going...but when I go through the dead plant path the creature kills me. I also chose other paths to see if it works but it doesn't, I think I'm stuck...(please if anyone can help reply to my comment)
Put a coin in the broken vending machine and kick it after, the machine will drop your coin and a rune. The second one is behind the big tree in the center
I found one in a crack in the wall, through the basement route of red's treehouse. Another was in the forest at the very beginning, by pointing the "secret" arrows up and right. The last one was in the faucet in the river section (outside the goldfish house)
Then one of the solutions is 23461 (I suppose any order of these switches works, really, but I find ending with 1 to be more dramatic). But try to solve this yourself to find out whether there is a shorter combination. You just need to note which switch on the lamp post affects which lamps.
Or you can cut the wires on the ground (or could in version 1.0.4 at least).
Well, getting scissors is not required (there are buttons on the lamp posts, the lamps can be switched off without scissors), but I kinda need to see every part of the game.
descend down the train tracks at the train station, and follow the directions on the train tickets in the dispensers. when you reach the tracks that has ticket with the death symbol, use the scissors to cut the plant. then, the creature won't kill you, and you'll get the missing daylight gate sign. put it on the signpost that had the missing sign (right outside the stairs outside the station) and everything returns to normal! :)
if this causes any problems later on in the game, i have no idea. but the scissors do also come in handy if you wanna step inside the fairy ring! i havent solved that puzzle yet tho
Did you solve the fairy ring puzzle at the end? I'm trying to solve it and I'm kinda stuck. I think it has to do with buying all of the fish, but I don't know if you can get 10 coins
Look closely. Shortly before the killer demon there is a part of the track that may or may not have a clue. For the first "round" the answer is an "eye", so you must look closely at the walls ("trees"). In correct path lots of small eyes will pop out for a short time, there will be no eyes in wrong paths (correct path is chosen at random).
For the second round the answer is "termites". This time around the clue is aural: you have to chose the path marked with the sound of termites (I suppose). Again, wrong paths will be marked with other sounds (there are more than two wrong sounds, for added replay-ability).
The third round's answer is "death". This time around things are different. There are no right or wrong paths (each path is deadly). There are potted plants on the cracks, one of which is half-dead (the other two are healthy), but this is a "red herring". Chose any path and chop the plant with your scissors to kill it (remember, the answer is "death"!).
OKAY, SO, DON'T CHECK THE CURTAINS OF THE BUS, NOPE, NOT A GOOD IDEA. WASN'T EXPECTING THAT. Got dead end 1-4, pretty surprised. I'm going to do all of the endings, just watch me.

I tried it and based on my observations, it made the Primal, attack a bit earlier. And I think it's just the same distance covered by walking.
Note: This is not confirmed and I don't trust myself. Maybe you could try it?

You can go look for the scissors in the train station, or solve the puzzle looking closely at the lamps. A comment said that if you look at them like:

The lighter that can be obtained in the room contains six blessing pictures.

I do not think it's possible because i tried opening a saved demo file...it didn't work for me

you're supposed to kill the plant with the scissors, then the creature won't kill you
Did someone find the runes? i've been looking for the second rune for hours, i can't find it anywhere. haha...
as I can remember the second rune is supposed to be behind the big tree if the update hasn't change anything

That's the lighthouse doorknob but we can't go back to meet Kat and let her combine them so it might be accessible in Chapter 2

I love the game, but I keep ending up in dead ends and then I have to redo lots of game progress. The goldfish sent me back 30 minutes.

If you played 1.0.4, try to get every Dead End on purpose! In this game series dead ends are sure delightful!

it's one of those annoying puzzles. just take the scissors with you, then cut the cords, that will help.

if this causes any problems later on in the game, i have no idea. but the scissors do also come in handy if you wanna step inside the fairy ring! i havent solved that puzzle yet tho

So, the eyes behind the trees were the answer. Those downward pointing arrows on the tickets are confusing though.
(need to test the fairy ring without the scissors) I know the fairy ring is a Dead End trap though.
Did you solve the fairy ring puzzle at the end? I'm trying to solve it and I'm kinda stuck. I think it has to do with buying all of the fish, but I don't know if you can get 10 coins
What directions? The only thing on the tickets is an eye. I've been stuck here for a while, even though I've already opened the gate.
Look closely. Shortly before the killer demon there is a part of the track that may or may not have a clue. For the first "round" the answer is an "eye", so you must look closely at the walls ("trees"). In correct path lots of small eyes will pop out for a short time, there will be no eyes in wrong paths (correct path is chosen at random).
For the second round the answer is "termites". This time around the clue is aural: you have to chose the path marked with the sound of termites (I suppose). Again, wrong paths will be marked with other sounds (there are more than two wrong sounds, for added replay-ability).
The third round's answer is "death". This time around things are different. There are no right or wrong paths (each path is deadly). There are potted plants on the cracks, one of which is half-dead (the other two are healthy), but this is a "red herring". Chose any path and chop the plant with your scissors to kill it (remember, the answer is "death"!).
