The only issue that I have is the hidden renders clues. They are mostly vague and hard to find. Other wise, I absolutely love this game. It is well written, great graphics, and extremely sexy. I got edged so much from playing this game, that my girl thinks I am taking pills to increase semen volume. Keep up the great work and I look forward to episode 7.
I followed the installation instructions. Now I can no longer start the game. The start screen is on for 1 second and then the game crashes. I'm just frustrated.
Yeah it won't work for me on Android at all. Even uninstalled what I had previously (so lost all my save games) and have tried both Full version and Compressed version.
Currently downloading on PC, so will see how that goes.
I was able to solve the problem for myself. I moved the saves to another folder on my phone, then uninstalled my version and downloaded the full version. After unpacking, I installed the game. The archive file is then copied to the Game folder. Then moved the saves from the replacement folder to Ripples. After the flawless start, the downloads and the unzipped files in the Download folder were deleted. In the end I had the files on my phone 3times. Download + unpacked in the download folder and finally under documents-renpy-saves...
Make the date with Sklar successful. Unless the last 2 scenes on page 6 are still with her? I am missing those along with the last one on page 4.
as for the hidden renders, make sure the item turns green when you hover them. If they don't, that means It's the wrong one. But if you got it right, the hidden render will show up.
So the last 2 on page 6 are for Jessica and the first 2 on page 7 are for Skylar. And it depends if you risked your relationship with Jessica at Ep3 like Vlenebrae said. Basically, you can't get all 4 on the same run. Well, as far as I know.
The last two on page 7 is Skyler scenes, so re-play the date with her to un-lock them. I have not figured out to un-lock the last two scenes on page 6, which I guess are Jessica scenes. To unlock the hidden renders, you have to find the exact right moment in the scene where the extra feature appears to unlock the render, which requires a good deal of attention. The hints only help you of where you need to pay extra attention, not the exact moment.
I just want to say that this dialogue between Riley and Alyssa is fkg hilarious, and thank you. I'm in episode 5 and already feeling the looming arrival of the end of 6 at this rate, but goddamn is this thing good.

I hope that this helps you understand what you are doing because once you understand it, you shouldn't have many/any issues with this or any other game in the future. The only variables (for the most part) that MAY change are the folder locations and what you need to copy.

The reason some games like this one need you to do this is because of APK file size limits. They can't exceed 2 GB. By doing it this way they can give you files with much greater size since the APK doesn't have to store all the data (instead you just move it yourself like in step 3)

The way I fixed this issue was to do a fresh install. Back up your save if you can. Uninstall the app, reinstall and follow the instructions again (assuming this is the full android version).

The story is very good, almost all girls are gorgeous, but for the love of god, there are THREE actual sex scenes in the entire game! Two of them with the same girl, and third is something way too wild.
What I mean by "actual" sex is full on penetration.

Several scenes that SHOULD end up in sex end up being just rubbing against each other or using mouths, because "(oh well, maybe some other time)". The game goes to far stretching some situations that would never happen in real life, and when a situation happens that should definitely end up in sex IRL, for some insane reason characters decide not to push it further, just to blueball the player, I suppose. Especially the last scene with Jenny... like, come on! Dad won't be home until night, your sister is in school, if only thing is stopping you is you being in the garage, go to your goddamn room!
Again, story and characters are amazing.
I'm just frustrated about lack of actual sex, that's it. For how many hours of gameplay there is, it's not even funny...

Sorry if my comment was confusing, there ARE sex scenes, just very few of them. there's a good amount of nsfw animations, like foreplay stuff, but very few penetration sex scenes, you should check it out, it's a really good game!
also, if there weren't sex scenes, it would still be labeled "porn game" due to the amount of nudity, and foreplay, games tend to do that before they release more sex scenes.

Girls you get to do stuff with is 4 [as of ep. 5] if I'm not forgetting any, but there's a lot of suggestion for I think 3 others. It's good content with a good story.

Whaaaat? I count twenty-two named female characters so far (nineteen are listed in the phone contacts, with sixteen of them showing a stat of whether or not you are on their "route"), and by the end of ep5 you've done stuff with almost half of them. Story threads are there for the rest of them as well - I think you'll probably have the opportunity to do stuff with almost all of them before the story is over.
game saves are stored in the app data folder, go to the searchbar in Windows, type %appdata% and find the folder called renpy, all your saves should be in the 'Ripples' folder. Just delete them.
Alternatively, a much simpler solution would be to go into Ripples, and in the save screen hover the picture of the save you want deleted and hit 'Delete' on your keyboard. That should work, and it doesn't require folder juggling.
thanks, but i'm on mac. ideally i'd like to backup my saves and wipe any other hidden folders but the issue isn't deleting the saves, it's i'm unable to get past a certain section of the game due to a reoccurring error.
I'm assuming when I delete ripples it's not uninstalling everything - thus a re-install is still pulling from those [possibly corrupted] folders.or maybe the mac version is just broken.
i think i stumbled upon the issue after i downloaded for pc and had the same issue. i believe it has to do with self-voicing. when it's on it always crashes at the same spot -that is, when the main characters receives a phone call from darci while he's roaming the power plant, he looks at his phone and the phone flashes twice - that's when the crash occurs. i think it's right before the light appears in the corner or the room.
Yeah, I fixed that problem and improved self-voicing in the next update. About Mac, I don't have a Mac, so I can't do any testing, but I do have one person in the discord server who usually plays on MAC and tells me if they are problems. If you want you can come to my discord server and help me test the MAC version, let me know. I'm on there every day, but I'm not on her every day.
Know what really sucks? How long it takes for updates to come out on the good games. How small those updates tend to be. How quickly you can burn through that new content.
But it's that good, that I'll replay the whole game after every update, get my rocks off to my favorite scenes a few more times, like getting back with an old girlfriend after a long break. Sucks when she leaves again, but that week is yet another to remember.

There's a document folder where all the saves are. First download the game on Mac then transfer the documents (from android) to the Mac's documents folder..not sure if it'll work but you can try..
truly amazing... story. not a game. choices seem insignificant, story is extremely linear, but man, oh man, those models... and animations. not to mention dialogues & humour.

Get the compressed if the full has any lag, Full version is for Androids that are capable while Compressed is for lower end devices.

Compression is about graphic, so you still get all the content, just lower graphic quality, for example. Animations should be running smoother.
