Heyo, this is probably one of my favorite browser games. I admit I've played this game probably a little too much during Covid lockdown but I've noticed things get weird when you play long enough.
I don't know how this game works code-wise but I've noticed things that don't normally appear until later (Elite bots, laser bots, etc.) can appear on floors 1 - 5. Also sometimes level generation gets weird and starts doing things that seem unusual.
Also, I've noticed things like cameras being generated next to each other and even vibrating objects.
Yeah game gets weird and glitchy sometimes but pretty good nonetheless.
Sometimes when I play this game on http://terrycavanaghgames.com/tinyheist, including on CoolMathGames, the whole game ends up blacking out in an unexpected way AND for no reason.
it happens to me too. I´m pretty sure it happens when I open too many locked doors too quickly such as on certain variations of floor 10 but on other floors I have no idea how it happens.
Edit: it also happens when I intentionally try to crash the game by having 20 patrol bots spawn and then getting caught by a security camera.
Yeah, I don't know what else is causing that problem. Some games like Tiny Heist were Flash games, but the company is working hard to make the Flash games playable again.

What language is the source for and can it be compiled on/for Linux? Thanks! Really would like a Linux version.
In the event that you cannot, there are 2 alternatives:
Use WINE or Proton on the Windows version,
or use a progressive web app on the web version.
The downsides to all of them are that they take more power, and the latter is capped at 30fps.
I'm aware of these alternatives but this doesn't answer my question.

Yeah, I remembered that. But Adobe Flash is dead, so that meant that that game was a FLASH game.
