Hello Mister Arc developer person. This is the first time I EVER leave a comment but I think that your game more than deserves the praise. This is literally the most ambitious and well-made NSFW game I have ever played or even watched. The story is borderline addictive (Been playing for a couple of days, playing multi-hour sessions JUST for the story), Great humor along with deadly seriousness (I caught myself gasping out of shock multiple times through out my playthrough), Fun and infectious gameplay for this type of game, and the variety of things to do in general. I can say comfortably that I have put at least 30-40 hours on this game, MOST of it not even for the porn. I can only hope and dream for this game to become even bigger and better. Already can't wait for the next update!

Stats that are locked due to your powers being limited. That limit was broken (or at least damaged) in the Act Two finale so it will start to open up again :)
will there be any 3D action figures for the game or accessories with prints? Perhaps the only game in this genre that hooked me so much that I wanted to have some kind of memory about it in the future.
It's definitely something I've considered, though it's hard to gauge how popular something like that would be ahead of time - and it's a substantial time and financial investment.

All costumes are available by the end of Act Two. I'm going to assume by "Chloe" you mean "Gwen", because Jessica's last outfit is her Hallowe'en outfit, and if you have Gwen's Hallowe'en costume then you'd have Jessica's too :)
To get the Hallowe'en costumes for Jessica and Gwen you need to have all the Hallowe'en decorations active in your room (Jack O' Lantern on the bedside table, coffin bed and witch poster) and then go to the dungeon in the evening.
Doesn't currently work, JSYK. Those were all I was missing as well and I did what you posted and the only option given to me now is to summon the character I defeated in combat.
Also, while we're discussing issues with the current update... where's the best place to post those for future ref? Discord channel I'm assuming? because ATM I noticed that the quick menu keeps disabling itself. If I click back it disables. if the screen changes from room to room or sleeping it disables. minimizing the window also disables it lol It's afraid of me! It keeps hiding!
One last thing, I like the combat system but is there be a way to grind? I lost my first battle using the MC and had to flee... came back using Chloe as the front and she whooped so much harder. Won in 2-3 turns both fights. So, I definitely need a way to grind considering I noticed only the frontliner gets the exp and if we get skills having the MC as support that will definitely gimp exp gain.
You have to do it in Act Two. For some strange reason, Jessica and Gwen don't really feel like playing dress-up whilst Gwen's dealing with her new situation and a war rages right outside the Manor gates ;)
The Quick Menu should be displaying permanently if you have it set to "Enable" in preferences. Make sure you don't have it on "Disable".
No way to grind right now, but I'm adding a "look for trouble" mode, hopefully for the next update, that will allow players to engage in non-district fights and gain EXP (as well as allowing MC to learn new skills from new recruits).
Bug reports and issues should be reported in the CK server, yes - makes it much easier for me to keep track of them that way :)
Awesome game! Solid 10. The MC's kids were all cute~ When I reached the current main storyline I can no longer see them. I hope to see them again soon. T_T

With the Combat/Conquer system coming in the next update, players will finally be able to start working through the map and eventually gain access to the Outskirts and Annie's farm. I hope everyone's okay!
If you're using the Itch app, and are on Windows, Linux or Mac then the game will patch automatically for you - you don't need to do anything.
If you're not using the Itch app, and are on Windows, Linux or Mac then you need to download the entire update file and EXTRACT TO A FRESH FOLDER.
If you're on Android then you need to download the apk and install it over the top of the old version (DO NOT DELETE THE GAME or you'll lose your saves permanently)
In all cases your saves are automatically transferred over for you :)
NOTE: There is a potential bug with the Itch app's updating procedure which can wipe out your manual saves. If this happens, don't panic, your nightly autosaves are still there. Just open the LOAD page, click on the "A" next to the page numbers at the bottom of the screen and voila!
Nice update but it will definitely increase the game size. Since android can only install 2 gb update, is it still possible to keep the android version up to date? Or do android user will need to use joiplay later?
One of my top priorities with CK is to keep the filesize as low as humanly possible. This is why I use .webp and .webm, I compress audio, I went for 720p resolution and I try to reuse assets as much as possible (also a reason for the Act Three paperdoll system).
My goal is to maintain the game below 2GB, and the latest update hasn't significantly added to the overall filesize, so things are still on track :)
This games deserve a 10/10 . The quality, mechanic, bug fixes, update, h scene, easy to understand, lots of variation girls and costume , the game is close to perfect. I have tried to play other nsfw itch game and so far CR win by very far distance from my second-place game.
Edit: Also, is it just me or gwen and chloe bath threesome scene on Act 2 feels weird. Their face look unnatural or something. Im not sure what but something feels too weird in the scene.
So I found a beg in the game on mobile I don't what happened but I was playing the game and I saved my game and closed the app once I reopened it all my saves were gone and every time I tried to save the game told me there wasn't any save slots
It's not a game bug (because the code just literally can't do what you're describing) so it seems like something's happened to your phone in the interim.
Possibly you had a large OS update that messed up your data folder? Or you shuffled some files around (or an app did it) which has messed up some file hierarchies. Or your data folder has become read-only for some reason. Or you just need to fully power down your phone because some libraries or drivers decided to go a little mad. Or a dozen other issues (because technology is a Lovecraftian monster that obeys no rules or laws of man).
I'd try the power-down thing though; it solves about 90% of the weird issues reported here.
Hey Arca, I know that you are busy developing game and other stuff, but could you make a zip file for android with apk(just downloading it) and cache(putting cache in android/obb)? Because for some phones it is quite difficult to install 1.42gb
Sorry, I'm possibly being dense but I'm not sure how dividing one file into two helps you with your lack of storage, especially since OBB files contain game assets (accounting for 99% of the file size) and that would need to be updated every new release anyway as I include new assets in each release.
I think what you're really asking for is a patch file, but unfortunately neither Ren'py nor Itch support Android patching. It's a ridiculously complex procedure that people in the indie dev community have been chipping away at for years with no success :(
If you have the Itch app then it will patch the game for you (if you're on Windows, Mac or Linux). If you don't have the app, or you're on Android, then you need to download the entire game again each time, I'm afraid.
For Win/Mac/Linux: Download and extract to a FRESH folder (do NOT overwrite the old files - sometimes I change file structures and it can break things). That's it! The game will automatically transfer your saves over for you.
For Android: Download the APK and install it on top of the existing APK (do NOT delete the gme at any time or you will permanently lose all your progress!). Same as above, the game will transfer your save files over
So without any spoilers, does anyone know where the game currently ends/resides as I'm trying to move forwards, but I believe I'm stuck, it's after the major event of the church and the manor being barricaded. Is their anything else to do now?
If you've explored all the currently-available map locations, and got to the "Strategize with Jessica" part then you've completed all the current content.
Next update will be out by the end of the week, and will contain all-new Combat and Conquer systems, crafting system, new features for the war map, Boss Girls to fight and recruit and a new dialogue UI :)
I appreciate the offer, but at the stage of development it would take me longer to bring someone in, get them set up on the git repo, get them up to speed, detail everything I need and then check over the work than it would to just do it myself :)
My next game will likely be started with a small team in mind - being a solo developer is great for project control, but a nightmare for physical and mental health ;P

About the updates. In one of the logs arc did say that whilst it was good to have more time to work on each update, after this one they will be going back to the weekly schedule
As Kliendon mentioned below, I will be returning to weekly uploads once this latest update is released into the wild (after taking a few days off to rest - I've been working seven-day weeks for the past month :P )
The next update won't be the size of 4-5 normal updates because the delay is due to me designing and coding brand-new systems, which takes a lot of time to do and is 95% coding mechanics rather than designing content.
That being said, it will be larger than most previous updates as players will have the combat, conquer and crafting systems to play around and experiment with.
In short, don't expect an epic amount of content, but I hope you'll enjoy what's there. And once the systems are in place, adding more and more each week will become significantly easier :)

Yes, the game will let you know once you've maxed out your authority. And there's nothing more to do in Act Three because I haven't coded it in yet - it's going to take a little time, sorry. Curse of a solo dev I'm afraid! ;)
no worries I already love the game if I knew how to code I would offer my help. but I'm just waiting for the war room as well as the bar stuff to happen because I'm also worried about the farm and the other's as well it's soooo worth the wait but If I may offer advice maybe add the chance to get the other girls pregnant and let the old girls have more then one child. like for the twins allow them and there mother to get pregnant or the other girls in the school get pregnent. just my thought's I mean if you can add a poll for people to vote on which girl get pregnant next or something of the sort.
At first I was thinking that this was just one of those simple "well bang ok" games. But literally after half an hour I was hooked on a story and characters! I love them! NSFW scenes are S+ on their own but you did a great job on every other aspect. Thank you for doing all this! I wish you best of luck and may success always be on your side, friend!

This is my first game so I'm learning a lot about what works and what doesn't, best practices, coding tricks and how to build systems and so much more. Hopefully I can put everything I've learned into my next game and make something much, much better :)
As for your description, well, I like to think of myself more as a timeless and formless entity, oozing its way into this dimension one creeping tendril at a time ;)
I understand that Act 3 will be the final one. will there be a continuation of this game and what will it be like? as a separate project or as an additional story?
Act Three will be the final act, but it will be followed by an epilogue that ties up most of the loose ends, allows you to explore and see the changes you wrought, and sets up the sequel.
As for the future, I have two full sequels planned - CK2 and CK3 - which are currently in the rough draft phase. No details on those for now.
Also, a number of players have put forward ideas for spinoff games, which... who knows? Maybe one day :)
Maybe a sequel about the story of zero's past or maybe do like a reverse harem type sh*t with the mother of the current mc as the protagonist. That'd be cool.

Just a thought about how to get around the um problem with Emma. (Tryna avoid spoilers for those who haven't gotten that far). Maybe a swing type setup? Just a thought. And I'm super excited to see the new bits, the combat system, new characters, visiting old characters, seeing the new main story unfold, and I'm really curious about the crafting as well. Have to say, this is still the best game I've ever played of any kind on any system and I absolutely adore Arc, CK and all of the CK characters. I even feel some pity for Morgana. Sumtin bad had to have happened to make her the way she is. I still have lots of questions, thoughts, and ideas, but I'll keep them to myself for now. I am curious about the other maps (the ones for the mountains and ourskirts)... the city is split into districts, but not so with the other maps. Lol. It's okay I can wait and see. IRL I sustained an L1 compression fracture (basically broke my back) a couple of weeks ago so at this point I have lots of time (and pain) while healing. I've been getting potions and making kiddos (went back to older save). I dunno how many potions are too many or if they will be as accessible in act 3, so prepping now. Also a bit curious about how choices/bits in act 1 and especially 2 will affect act 3 or if they will. Like the hiding spot in the flat. Or the purchase of various properties (the company comes to mind). If someone didn't buy the company, the marina (no 🐠 gurlz), did or didn't find summoner and pet, etc or even didn't win over one or more council members... if that's even possible... how would it affect events later? (might make things harder I would imagine). Not expecting a spoiler filled answer or anything, just been thinking. And thinking about how to take down the bloody eldritch. Lol. Maybe I have way too much time on my hands. 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway thank you for this wonderful game and for tolerating my musings and this wall of text.

As for your questions:
1. Swing MIGHT work, but it depends on how high up it is.
2. There's a small hint as to what might have happened to Morgana in one of your dreams...
3. The other maps aren't split into disctricts, but they will have their own "zones" like the town does. Contested areas, areas with a special focus or something to guard or use. That kind of thing.
4. Potions will be useable in Act Three, and you'll be able to purchase ingredients for crafting (amongst other things) with them.
5. Decisions made - especially the purchasing of property and getting girls' event lines completed - will have a huge effect on Act Three. From granting or denying access to certain characters, crafting recipes, combat skills and more. Some of the girls may even turn on you...

Thank you so much, Arc, for your kind words and again for such an amazing game. I'm healing, albeit slowly (will probably take about 3 months) and at the moment, I'm feeling a bit like Gwen. I can stand and walk now, but only for maybe 20 to 30 minutes at a time at most and that not often yet. My fiancee and our children live in the UK and I live in the US (was going to visit for 6 months starting in the beginning of April, but thats been put on hold for now) and I've pretty much been on my own through this. I've had our CK family to keep me company though, and this has helped immensely.
Speaking of Gwen, in her current condition (much like my own, life imitating art) maybe a swing would work with her as well?
Another question... you said some of the girls might turn? Does that include the ones already Awakened/Shattered (Chloe)? Just curious. It's okay if you can't answer this.
Oh one more tiny question. I know it's probably too late to do anything about this now, and its okay if it is, but any slight chance there may be any short ginger girls? Just curious. Sorry to hear about your back. I went through something similar a few years back, but mine wasn't a compression fracture. L4 and L5 were broken when I was assaulted and I landed on a rock. It gets better after a while, but it's going to hurt like hell while it heals up. Hopefully you have good doctors and you make a full recovery with no lingering after effects. I still have issues from time to time because of cold weather or moving around too much, which has basically limited me to a sit down job where I can get up and move around to avoid sitting in one position for too long.
I'm sorry that you've had to go through what I am now. In my case I slipped on some ice on the way to work. Thank you for your kind wishes. I have to say, no I really don't have good doctors tbh. Got an xray, a toridol (basically ibupofen) injection, 2 cold packs and 2 heat packs and sent home. Hopefully I can still work when I get out. Generally I do inventory at a warehouse, lots of bending, sitting, standing, walking, etc.
Wow, that's some crazy unfortunate timing - I'm sure your fiancée and kids were very sad to hear you wouldn't be able to join them as planned. Hopefully your back heals quickly and you don't have to put the visit off for too long!

Thank you so much for your heartfelt, kind message, Arc, it means more to me than you can know. Due to the long healing and having to be off work for much of the 3 months or so, I honestly don't know how long it will be before I can see my fiancee and our girls again and I probably won't be able to hold our girls even then, which is a bit depressing to say the least and my fiancee and our babies were absolutely devastated to hear of the injury and such a massive setback. My fiancee has tried to put a brave face on it, but the worry and disappointment have really taken their toll on her.
Lol you're very right, my fiancee lives in NE UK but has lots of relatives in Scotland and her accent is a mix of Scottish and Geordie (the accent around the Newcastle upon tyne area). She's absolutely delightful and I could and often do listen to her talk for hours. Lol maybe your family do indeed know her. I haven't been to Scotland yet but we're very close to the border. I absolutely love life in the NE UK and can hardly wait to go home. And I'm very, very glad that you're planning some time off to finally rest. I know you've been working hard on CK and I'm beyond grateful as are all of your adoring fans in our CK family, but it's important to get plenty of rest and some Arc time too.

The only main girls I have without full hearts are Chastity, Morgana and Lyx, all of which I know come later (in more ways than one?). Though I think the real personality of Chloe might wanna stab the MC in the neck. Repeatedly. Lol. But is there a possibility of side girls (Jessica's friends, Molly, etc) turning? Doesn't seem likely, just curious.
And my adoration of you has just gone up 1000%, it sounds like due to the combat system, crafting, and the effect of choices, it sounds like CK will have a HUGE replay value, the game changing if we go back and make different choices. CK, in my humble opinion, is truly the best of the best games but this will truly seal the deal, putting it in a league of its very own.

As to your question (I could only see one?), there is a possibility that side girls will turn on you if you haven't fully interacted with them in Act Two, but it will be rare - most often they'll just disappear when the war kicks off. In those cases there will be small amounts of lore you can find, indicating what happened to them.
I'm hoping that the new systems give players a lot to engage with, without feeling grindy or forced. CK is my first game, and so it's very much an experiment in seeing what works and what doesn't. I hope you enjoy the new stuff, though!
I haven't tried Eternum but I did play Once in a Lifetime which was quite good. The choice system was a bit crazy though, had long term effects. And Heros Harem Guild kept crashing on my poor Android 11 phone. So I cleared all other games and kept the only important one, the best one, CK. Lol.

Also, while we're discussing issues with the current update... where's the best place to post those for future ref? Discord channel I'm assuming? because ATM I noticed that the quick menu keeps disabling itself. If I click back it disables. if the screen changes from room to room or sleeping it disables. minimizing the window also disables it lol It's afraid of me! It keeps hiding!
One last thing, I like the combat system but is there be a way to grind? I lost my first battle using the MC and had to flee... came back using Chloe as the front and she whooped so much harder. Won in 2-3 turns both fights. So, I definitely need a way to grind considering I noticed only the frontliner gets the exp and if we get skills having the MC as support that will definitely gimp exp gain.
You have to do it in Act Two. For some strange reason, Jessica and Gwen don't really feel like playing dress-up whilst Gwen's dealing with her new situation and a war rages right outside the Manor gates ;)
The Quick Menu should be displaying permanently if you have it set to "Enable" in preferences. Make sure you don't have it on "Disable".
No way to grind right now, but I'm adding a "look for trouble" mode, hopefully for the next update, that will allow players to engage in non-district fights and gain EXP (as well as allowing MC to learn new skills from new recruits).
Bug reports and issues should be reported in the CK server, yes - makes it much easier for me to keep track of them that way :)
Awesome game! Solid 10. The MC's kids were all cute~ When I reached the current main storyline I can no longer see them. I hope to see them again soon. T_T

how do i do updates or does it do it automatically
If you're using the Itch app, and are on Windows, Linux or Mac then the game will patch automatically for you - you don't need to do anything.
If you're not using the Itch app, and are on Windows, Linux or Mac then you need to download the entire update file and EXTRACT TO A FRESH FOLDER.
If you're on Android then you need to download the apk and install it over the top of the old version (DO NOT DELETE THE GAME or you'll lose your saves permanently)
In all cases your saves are automatically transferred over for you :)
NOTE: There is a potential bug with the Itch app's updating procedure which can wipe out your manual saves. If this happens, don't panic, your nightly autosaves are still there. Just open the LOAD page, click on the "A" next to the page numbers at the bottom of the screen and voila!

Nice update but it will definitely increase the game size. Since android can only install 2 gb update, is it still possible to keep the android version up to date? Or do android user will need to use joiplay later?
One of my top priorities with CK is to keep the filesize as low as humanly possible. This is why I use .webp and .webm, I compress audio, I went for 720p resolution and I try to reuse assets as much as possible (also a reason for the Act Three paperdoll system).
My goal is to maintain the game below 2GB, and the latest update hasn't significantly added to the overall filesize, so things are still on track :)
This games deserve a 10/10 . The quality, mechanic, bug fixes, update, h scene, easy to understand, lots of variation girls and costume , the game is close to perfect. I have tried to play other nsfw itch game and so far CR win by very far distance from my second-place game.
Edit: Also, is it just me or gwen and chloe bath threesome scene on Act 2 feels weird. Their face look unnatural or something. Im not sure what but something feels too weird in the scene.
So I found a beg in the game on mobile I don't what happened but I was playing the game and I saved my game and closed the app once I reopened it all my saves were gone and every time I tried to save the game told me there wasn't any save slots
It's not a game bug (because the code just literally can't do what you're describing) so it seems like something's happened to your phone in the interim.
Possibly you had a large OS update that messed up your data folder? Or you shuffled some files around (or an app did it) which has messed up some file hierarchies. Or your data folder has become read-only for some reason. Or you just need to fully power down your phone because some libraries or drivers decided to go a little mad. Or a dozen other issues (because technology is a Lovecraftian monster that obeys no rules or laws of man).
I'd try the power-down thing though; it solves about 90% of the weird issues reported here.

Hey Arca, I know that you are busy developing game and other stuff, but could you make a zip file for android with apk(just downloading it) and cache(putting cache in android/obb)? Because for some phones it is quite difficult to install 1.42gb
Sorry, I'm possibly being dense but I'm not sure how dividing one file into two helps you with your lack of storage, especially since OBB files contain game assets (accounting for 99% of the file size) and that would need to be updated every new release anyway as I include new assets in each release.
I think what you're really asking for is a patch file, but unfortunately neither Ren'py nor Itch support Android patching. It's a ridiculously complex procedure that people in the indie dev community have been chipping away at for years with no success :(

Do you know how to update this game , you know if a new version come up?
you just redownload it and put it in the current folder you have, then you let the computer replace the assets and you're done hope it help

If you've explored all the currently-available map locations, and got to the "Strategize with Jessica" part then you've completed all the current content.
Next update will be out by the end of the week, and will contain all-new Combat and Conquer systems, crafting system, new features for the war map, Boss Girls to fight and recruit and a new dialogue UI :)

Hi i saw your post and was wondering if you would like some help i'm an Amateur programmer but i thought i could put this out there.
I appreciate the offer, but at the stage of development it would take me longer to bring someone in, get them set up on the git repo, get them up to speed, detail everything I need and then check over the work than it would to just do it myself :)
My next game will likely be started with a small team in mind - being a solo developer is great for project control, but a nightmare for physical and mental health ;P

About the updates. In one of the logs arc did say that whilst it was good to have more time to work on each update, after this one they will be going back to the weekly schedule
As Kliendon mentioned below, I will be returning to weekly uploads once this latest update is released into the wild (after taking a few days off to rest - I've been working seven-day weeks for the past month :P )
The next update won't be the size of 4-5 normal updates because the delay is due to me designing and coding brand-new systems, which takes a lot of time to do and is 95% coding mechanics rather than designing content.
That being said, it will be larger than most previous updates as players will have the combat, conquer and crafting systems to play around and experiment with.
In short, don't expect an epic amount of content, but I hope you'll enjoy what's there. And once the systems are in place, adding more and more each week will become significantly easier :)

Yes, the game will let you know once you've maxed out your authority. And there's nothing more to do in Act Three because I haven't coded it in yet - it's going to take a little time, sorry. Curse of a solo dev I'm afraid! ;)
no worries I already love the game if I knew how to code I would offer my help. but I'm just waiting for the war room as well as the bar stuff to happen because I'm also worried about the farm and the other's as well it's soooo worth the wait but If I may offer advice maybe add the chance to get the other girls pregnant and let the old girls have more then one child. like for the twins allow them and there mother to get pregnant or the other girls in the school get pregnent. just my thought's I mean if you can add a poll for people to vote on which girl get pregnant next or something of the sort.

At first I was thinking that this was just one of those simple "well bang ok" games. But literally after half an hour I was hooked on a story and characters! I love them! I understand that Act 3 will be the final one. will there be a continuation of this game and what will it be like? as a separate project or as an additional story?
A little while ago they mentioned making spinoffs and sequels
Arc said that this will be a trilogy.
Act Three will be the final act, but it will be followed by an epilogue that ties up most of the loose ends, allows you to explore and see the changes you wrought, and sets up the sequel.
As for the future, I have two full sequels planned - CK2 and CK3 - which are currently in the rough draft phase. No details on those for now.
Also, a number of players have put forward ideas for spinoff games, which... who knows? Maybe one day :)
Maybe a sequel about the story of zero's past or maybe do like a reverse harem type sh*t with the mother of the current mc as the protagonist. That'd be cool.
That would be a prequel, and it's unlikely for the simple reason that I don't like stories where you know the ending before you even start :P
After all games I played in this section, this game is the beste game ever. I couldn’t stop playing that game. And with a creator that is so active on the comments and the game and even give us some text based updates where he say somethings about the new update, is the best game ever. Just a thought about how to get around the um problem with Emma. (Tryna avoid spoilers for those who haven't gotten that far). Maybe a swing type setup? Just a thought. And I'm super excited to see the new bits, the combat system, new characters, visiting old characters, seeing the new main story unfold, and I'm really curious about the crafting as well. Have to say, this is still the best game I've ever played of any kind on any system and I absolutely adore Arc, CK and all of the CK characters. I even feel some pity for Morgana. Sumtin bad had to have happened to make her the way she is. I still have lots of questions, thoughts, and ideas, but I'll keep them to myself for now. I am curious about the other maps (the ones for the mountains and ourskirts)... the city is split into districts, but not so with the other maps. Lol. It's okay I can wait and see. IRL I sustained an L1 compression fracture (basically broke my back) a couple of weeks ago so at this point I have lots of time (and pain) while healing. I've been getting potions and making kiddos (went back to older save). I dunno how many potions are too many or if they will be as accessible in act 3, so prepping now. Also a bit curious about how choices/bits in act 1 and especially 2 will affect act 3 or if they will. Like the hiding spot in the flat. Or the purchase of various properties (the company comes to mind). If someone didn't buy the company, the marina (no 🐠 gurlz), did or didn't find summoner and pet, etc or even didn't win over one or more council members... if that's even possible... how would it affect events later? (might make things harder I would imagine). Not expecting a spoiler filled answer or anything, just been thinking. And thinking about how to take down the bloody eldritch. Lol. Maybe I have way too much time on my hands. 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway thank you for this wonderful game and for tolerating my musings and this wall of text.

As for your questions:
1. Swing MIGHT work, but it depends on how high up it is.
2. There's a small hint as to what might have happened to Morgana in one of your dreams...
3. The other maps aren't split into disctricts, but they will have their own "zones" like the town does. Contested areas, areas with a special focus or something to guard or use. That kind of thing.
4. Potions will be useable in Act Three, and you'll be able to purchase ingredients for crafting (amongst other things) with them.
5. Decisions made - especially the purchasing of property and getting girls' event lines completed - will have a huge effect on Act Three. From granting or denying access to certain characters, crafting recipes, combat skills and more. Some of the girls may even turn on you...

Thank you so much, Arc, for your kind words and again for such an amazing game. I'm healing, albeit slowly (will probably take about 3 months) and at the moment, I'm feeling a bit like Gwen. I can stand and walk now, but only for maybe 20 to 30 minutes at a time at most and that not often yet. My fiancee and our children live in the UK and I live in the US (was going to visit for 6 months starting in the beginning of April, but thats been put on hold for now) and I've pretty much been on my own through this. I've had our CK family to keep me company though, and this has helped immensely.
Speaking of Gwen, in her current condition (much like my own, life imitating art) maybe a swing would work with her as well?
Another question... you said some of the girls might turn? Does that include the ones already Awakened/Shattered (Chloe)? Just curious. It's okay if you can't answer this.
Oh one more tiny question. I know it's probably too late to do anything about this now, and its okay if it is, but any slight chance there may be any short ginger girls? Just curious. Sorry to hear about your back. I went through something similar a few years back, but mine wasn't a compression fracture. L4 and L5 were broken when I was assaulted and I landed on a rock. It gets better after a while, but it's going to hurt like hell while it heals up. Hopefully you have good doctors and you make a full recovery with no lingering after effects. I still have issues from time to time because of cold weather or moving around too much, which has basically limited me to a sit down job where I can get up and move around to avoid sitting in one position for too long.
I'm sorry that you've had to go through what I am now. In my case I slipped on some ice on the way to work. Thank you for your kind wishes. I have to say, no I really don't have good doctors tbh. Got an xray, a toridol (basically ibupofen) injection, 2 cold packs and 2 heat packs and sent home. Hopefully I can still work when I get out. Generally I do inventory at a warehouse, lots of bending, sitting, standing, walking, etc.
Wow, that's some crazy unfortunate timing - I'm sure your fiancée and kids were very sad to hear you wouldn't be able to join them as planned. Hopefully your back heals quickly and you don't have to put the visit off for too long!
So, for the questions:

2. Girls at Love 4 won't turn, but anyone below that once you hit Act Three has a chance to. Some will fight for your enemies and others will simply "nope" outta town.
3. Always possible that one of the Boss Girls will turn out to be a short, ginger girl. There's 40-something districts in the first map alone, after all! :P

Due to the long healing and having to be off work for much of the 3 months or so, I honestly don't know how long it will be before I can see my fiancee and our girls again and I probably won't be able to hold our girls even then, which is a bit depressing to say the least and my fiancee and our babies were absolutely devastated to hear of the injury and such a massive setback. My fiancee has tried to put a brave face on it, but the worry and disappointment have really taken their toll on her.
Lol you're very right, my fiancee lives in NE UK but has lots of relatives in Scotland and her accent is a mix of Scottish and Geordie (the accent around the Newcastle upon tyne area). She's absolutely delightful and I could and often do listen to her talk for hours. Lol maybe your family do indeed know her. I haven't been to Scotland yet but we're very close to the border. I absolutely love life in the NE UK and can hardly wait to go home. And I'm very, very glad that you're planning some time off to finally rest. Doesn't seem likely, just curious.
And my adoration of you has just gone up 1000%, it sounds like due to the combat system, crafting, and the effect of choices, it sounds like CK will have a HUGE replay value, the game changing if we go back and make different choices. CK, in my humble opinion, is truly the best of the best games but this will truly seal the deal, putting it in a league of its very own.

As to your question (I could only see one?), there is a possibility that side girls will turn on you if you haven't fully interacted with them in Act Two, but it will be rare - most often they'll just disappear when the war kicks off. In those cases there will be small amounts of lore you can find, indicating what happened to them.
I'm hoping that the new systems give players a lot to engage with, without feeling grindy or forced. CK is my first game, and so it's very much an experiment in seeing what works and what doesn't. I hope you enjoy the new stuff, though!

I haven't tried Eternum but I did play Once in a Lifetime which was quite good. The choice system was a bit crazy though, had long term effects. And Heros Harem Guild kept crashing on my poor Android 11 phone. So I cleared all other games and kept the only important one, the best one, CK. Lol.
The combat update will go live to all Patreon and Subscribestar supporters on the 20th of this month. Everyone else will get it on the 23rd :)
