I juts finished my first play through and it looks like I missed stuff. Great work! Would it be possible to add the option to delete saves? it juts hels me organize my saves so I dont get confused aon which were overwritten. Im going to play it again for a different ending! I really loved the art and the love interests
have u tried scrolling the shop? Or dragging it up and down. The whole shop is basically a pull n drag shop u can scroll upwards n downwards with ur mouse as well
Not that rare… it’s not hard to catch, you should kinda be able to tell depending on speed. It’s like a moderate speed. Really slow=turtle, impossibly fast=angelfish usually, or jellyfish, octopus is a little fast, moderate/moderate slow= clownfish, eel, herring. You could try saving before you fish and then if you don’t get the right one you can go back 😂 But usually the fish is more expensive then bait so I just get a ton and just sell every fish (unless it’s rare/needed)
And another important question: I'm not sure what happened but during the sleepover scene the game just closed by itself. And when I decided to restart the game, the files looked like this - the exe file was missing. I deleted and reinstalled the game but it didn't solve anything. I still don't understand what happened and how to restart it.
Update: so I checked my computer and found out that my Windows Defender put in quarantine the exe application file because it claims that it has a Trojan virus inside. It's literally written "Trojan:Win32/Phonzy.B!ml" BewitchingSinners.exe Should I just change the settings and ask Windows Defender to ignore exe files and not to put them in quarantine? Never had this problem before.
Update the game, or yes just ask it to ignore the exe or update your windows. For some reason it makes a false positive in some computers , or open windows security, check the log and Action > Restore
Hello. Is it even possible to avoid confessing to Arshem about mc's true identity? I tried everything, but my mc always leads him to the room where she tries to reveal the secret about her true self. Maybe because of this I can't get the CG with Thane licking Fia's hand on 27/05. My dance with Thane is always interrupted by Arshem. (even if I was a total bitch to the guy previously).
You can avoid it by being mean to Arshem and not accepting Riley's offer to check the menu then getting the angels for Arshem quest. When you meet Arshem after Poppy's class, don't have an angelfish on you. Basically this quest needs to fail
Hello! :D I was super excited to finally play the full version since i absolutely loved the demo but apperently there is an error when i try launching the game. It says that the folder is not a valid Win32 application, like the literally isnt an application, just all the other files. Does anyone know how to solve this?

update : in case anyone else has the same issus, i fixed it by downloading the demo again and just draging the applicatioon from that file over to the full 1.2 version.

Steam and itch io build have the same content! As of currently it’s for all ages but more oriented to R16. If we reach 10K in gross profit then I will make a r18 dlc as that means the project is financially viable for me to make a dlc ^ ^
If it reaches 20K in gross profit then I will also add another dlc to date the witches

no worries! according to my editor, there is over 100K words but tbh I’m not sure myself as I didn’t write this on a conventional word engine and just directly to code.
I do plan to add steam key to the itch io purchase once the game is released on steam.
A common route without dating anyone is about 6 hr and with about 8-9. Hope that answers all ur questions ^ ^
hmm I will try to explain the best to my abilities, but apologies if it’s hard to understand.
Basically there a lot of prequisites to get Thane. First you have to complete the Find the Culprit Quest before Meyza ask you to meet a second time. You can do so by checking the doodles on Winston’s desk and submitting the quest. Then when Thane bit Fia, agree to go and accompany him to see her. Then do not craft the cure and instead just wait until Io’s arc is done, once you inserted Io’s heart, Thane should ask you to bond, say yes.
i have many players and patrons finishing with Thane so I don’t think it’s a coding issue, but let me know.

Also I'm not sure if in this conversation with Thane, Quill and Arshem it was a bug that Thane used "them" when talking about my MC, since she is female with female pronouns. But maybe by "them" Thane meant MC and Quill. I'm really not sure if it's a bug. Sorry if I'm bothering you for nothing.
It refers to the mc, I admit sometimes there are a few sentences that uses them/they instead as I feel it fits the vibe better and can be used but I can see why it may seem like a bug so thanks! ^ ^

The r18 patch will be a paid dlc, as I know some fans of this game might be on the younger side so I don’t want it to be patch into the base game as is. But the r18 dlc will be capped at 2-4 USD max (with vers option for male mc) as for the witch route target dlc at 20K gross profit I am still pending on price for the witch routes . i know what I want to do but not sure on the word count or cg count for that yet. ^^

I just finished playing Bewitching Sinners for the second time in three days and I'm honestly impressed by the amount of content and the quality of this game —Even more knowing it was created in 1 year and a half 💕
I absolutely loved the interactivity of the gameplay, and I spent so many hours exploring the map, talking with each person and going back to do as many choices I could make.
The dialogues and interactions between all the characters were both funny and entertaining.
[Spoiler and question about the ending]
Right now I've done:
- Meyza's Happy Ending
- Io's Happy Ending
- Ivar's Happy Ending
- Seth's Happy Ending
- Seth Alternative Ending
- Palmier's Happy Ending (I think?)
But this is where I'm confused... because I did everything for "Palmier's Happy Ending": asked for the truth with Ivar, unlocked the Diary quest & Finished the Diary Quest, but the Ending was called "Your Happy Ending" so I'm not sure if I got the right one or if I messed something up and got the true "Your Happy Ending" (Ignorance is Bliss) instead of Palmier's Happy Ending... 😭
Basically, in the one I got, we go put the heart in "Non-MC-Palmier", he wakes up, we celebrate the MC departure, then Palmier (The MC) is back home with one of the guy, they meet their neighbours and then we have a glimpse of "Non-MC-Palmier" world were he talks about the witches and summon "Furry-Ivar"
Is it "Your Happy Ending" or "Palmier's Happy Ending" ? 🥲

The fact that he can still even save you in that moment, like he still holds you closest to his heart… that’s a real dedicated/obsessed man right there. And then the roles reversed and I chased him around, talk to me dammit!!! Not me missing his sweet talk and softness for our character 😭😂
Ivar doesn't have a route with a happy ending yet right? will he ever have a route? I'd like to somehow make him happy his story resonates in a way I wasn't expecting.
Hmm if u mean the happy in our standards, as of right now, no. The closest is maybe in Palmier’s (the non mc one) True Ending. And the more revenge version of happy is his own happy ending.

Well Fingers crossed its reached then, He's a horribly tragic character. Characters with past of SA tend to resonate with me as someone who is a victim of that myself, (Though I say past its never really over for him is it?)

Unrelated little option of mine Personally id rather have a route for Siren boy rather then Seth as honestly I think Seth is too dislikeable to have his own route but then siren boy is soul bounded so boo
very understandable, tbh Irwin was supposed to be an mc of another game I scrapped so I get it and yes Seth is an ass, but like Io, Kor and Ivar, he has a story to tell (which I had to cut for time in the current game) so I want to share it if I can!

Definitely worth the money imo. I feel like I'm gonna have to space my runs out more, getting Palmier's ending first then Ivar's. I didn't think it'd be so drastic, but I love that it went there. All the characters were really enjoyable.

when I try to test everything (and I do mean everything from each routes and each ending) it took me over 20 hrs lol. There were a lot of replays. Ina sum though per ending is about 8 hours.

wow okay I cant believe it's been almost 10 months since I finished the demo. the art is gorg. I just finished my first run after 9ish hours and I'm really interested in how the story could end any differently. also so hoping for the 20k goal in your other post, seth/ivar routes would be insane.
but I'm still confused on how the curiosity/honesty/kindness stats affect anything. I ended with 20 kindness and was still called a goody two shoes so I don't think that's it. also, the gifting is kinda confusing. it always shows up as none, like the honey pops I crafted before a date
Still awhile for 20K but we've passed the halfway point for the 10K gross profit though! So hopefully it keeps going I can publicly release the r18 DLC here when it's done
The kindness/honesty/curiosity help a lot with your exploration and love route choices.
For example you can't hug Thane in the late night lake event unless your kindness is at 50 , Can't hug Quill either during his love route event if your kindness is below 20. The siren will snap at you for touching them if your kindness is too low.
Some of MC's dialogue will automatically be brutally honest if their honesty is above a certain point. Like inappropriately blurting out they like soap operas in the lake awakening event. For curiosity, you need at least 50 to reach parchment 7, etc
Everyone will still call you a goody two shoes though, because let's be honest... you're a saint compared to any of them in their world.
For gifts, they should have popped up as I seem to have no issues with it, but I'll try to test that out in other computers, may I know your device? Mac? Windows?
it was definitely a treat, I actually laughed aloud a lot which I don't think has ever happened to me with VN, or at least for a long time. fingers crossed for continued momentum!

absolutely loved playing this game. i've had a couple of endings, and romanced 3/4, definitely worth the money!! if there's ever going to be a ivar's route (either here or patreon), you bet i'm going to buy it, bc ouuuff i love him. he's complicated and what not, but he's my fave. soo might just romance his son for now lol

you should be able to delete saves by hovering the save file and press the del key in your keyboard! ^ ^

Can you not turn in the request on the quest board? There should be a culprit item in your inventory

Just so you know, The hairpin is to go into the principal office and touch the globe, and later ask about sirens to get the diary/true ending
It has nothing to do with Thane’s route. That’s more about finishing finding the culprit quest. Hope that helps

somehow im on my second playthro already and i cant for the life of me understand why i cant bond to Thane, thoughts?
did you let Thane bind with Fia or cure him with a potion? If you’re stuck, the love and relationship guide should be able to help you

Just finished a line from the game, and while it's sad that not everyone has a good ending, I do like the complexity of the quests you portrayed, though it feels like everyone has their own haha. Anyways! I'm looking forward to the DLC and was wondering if there will be a sequel? (*^▽^*)

ah dude is common. Idk in the us but in my culture we use dude for both girls n boys among friends, but thanks for the info and let me know if I miss anything else!
Also I'm not sure if in this conversation with Thane, Quill and Arshem it was a bug that Thane used "them" when talking about my MC, since she is female with female pronouns. But maybe by "them" Thane meant MC and Quill. I'm really not sure if it's a bug. Sorry if I'm bothering you for nothing.
It refers to the mc, I admit sometimes there are a few sentences that uses them/they instead as I feel it fits the vibe better and can be used but I can see why it may seem like a bug so thanks! ^ ^

The r18 patch will be a paid dlc, as I know some fans of this game might be on the younger side so I don’t want it to be patch into the base game as is. But the r18 dlc will be capped at 2-4 USD max (with vers option for male mc) as for the witch route target dlc at 20K gross profit I am still pending on price for the witch routes . i know what I want to do but not sure on the word count or cg count for that yet. ^^

I just finished playing Bewitching Sinners for the second time in three days and I'm honestly impressed by the amount of content and the quality of this game —Even more knowing it was created in 1 year and a half 💕
I absolutely loved the interactivity of the gameplay, and I spent so many hours exploring the map, talking with each person and going back to do as many choices I could make.
The dialogues and interactions between all the characters were both funny and entertaining.
[Spoiler and question about the ending]
Right now I've done:
- Meyza's Happy Ending
- Io's Happy Ending
- Ivar's Happy Ending
- Seth's Happy Ending
- Seth Alternative Ending
- Palmier's Happy Ending (I think?)
But this is where I'm confused... because I did everything for "Palmier's Happy Ending": asked for the truth with Ivar, unlocked the Diary quest & Finished the Diary Quest, but the Ending was called "Your Happy Ending" so I'm not sure if I got the right one or if I messed something up and got the true "Your Happy Ending" (Ignorance is Bliss) instead of Palmier's Happy Ending... 😭
Basically, in the one I got, we go put the heart in "Non-MC-Palmier", he wakes up, we celebrate the MC departure, then Palmier (The MC) is back home with one of the guy, they meet their neighbours and then we have a glimpse of "Non-MC-Palmier" world were he talks about the witches and summon "Furry-Ivar"
Is it "Your Happy Ending" or "Palmier's Happy Ending" ? 🥲

you can go back to your world single. If you do this and have one of the bad endings and truth tag on, you all will play dnd with the boys of mc’s world haha

The fact that he can still even save you in that moment, like he still holds you closest to his heart… that’s a real dedicated/obsessed man right there. And then the roles reversed and I chased him around, talk to me dammit!!! Not me missing his sweet talk and softness for our character 😭😂
Ivar doesn't have a route with a happy ending yet right? will he ever have a route? I'd like to somehow make him happy his story resonates in a way I wasn't expecting.
I mean i got a ending that said it was his happy ending, didnt seem very happy though
Hmm if u mean the happy in our standards, as of right now, no. The closest is maybe in Palmier’s (the non mc one) True Ending. And the more revenge version of happy is his own happy ending.

Well Fingers crossed its reached then, He's a horribly tragic character. Characters with past of SA tend to resonate with me as someone who is a victim of that myself, (Though I say past its never really over for him is it?)
I wish there was an option to say to him he has sad eyes because personally, I think he does even if that's not mentioned. How could you not?
Unrelated little option of mine Personally id rather have a route for Siren boy rather then Seth as honestly I think Seth is too dislikeable to have his own route but then siren boy is soul bounded so boo
very understandable, tbh Irwin was supposed to be an mc of another game I scrapped so I get it and yes Seth is an ass, but like Io, Kor and Ivar, he has a story to tell (which I had to cut for time in the current game) so I want to share it if I can!

Definitely worth the money imo. I feel like I'm gonna have to space my runs out more, getting Palmier's ending first then Ivar's. I didn't think it'd be so drastic, but I love that it went there. All the characters were really enjoyable.

when I try to test everything (and I do mean everything from each routes and each ending) it took me over 20 hrs lol. There were a lot of replays. Ina sum though per ending is about 8 hours.

My game crashes when I try to load a save file, and it will not let me start from a save. It makes me restart the game fully. Is there something I can fix
Have you tried moving all the saves from the previous v 1.1 to the new v 1.2 game folder? If the problem persists then for now please play the v 1.1 version you previously downloaded as I try to see and find a fix

wow okay I cant believe it's been almost 10 months since I finished the demo. the art is gorg. I just finished my first run after 9ish hours and I'm really interested in how the story could end any differently. also so hoping for the 20k goal in your other post, seth/ivar routes would be insane.
but I'm still confused on how the curiosity/honesty/kindness stats affect anything. I ended with 20 kindness and was still called a goody two shoes so I don't think that's it. also, the gifting is kinda confusing. it always shows up as none, like the honey pops I crafted before a date

The kindness/honesty/curiosity help a lot with your exploration and love route choices.
For example you can't hug Thane in the late night lake event unless your kindness is at 50 , Can't hug Quill either during his love route event if your kindness is below 20. The siren will snap at you for touching them if your kindness is too low.
Some of MC's dialogue will automatically be brutally honest if their honesty is above a certain point. Like inappropriately blurting out they like soap operas in the lake awakening event. For curiosity, you need at least 50 to reach parchment 7, etc
Everyone will still call you a goody two shoes though, because let's be honest... you're a saint compared to any of them in their world.
For gifts, they should have popped up as I seem to have no issues with it, but I'll try to test that out in other computers, may I know your device? Mac? Windows?
it was definitely a treat, I actually laughed aloud a lot which I don't think has ever happened to me with VN, or at least for a long time. fingers crossed for continued momentum!

absolutely loved playing this game. i've had a couple of endings, and romanced 3/4, definitely worth the money!! if there's ever going to be a ivar's route (either here or patreon), you bet i'm going to buy it, bc ouuuff i love him. he's complicated and what not, but he's my fave. soo might just romance his son for now lol
