Do we have any rough ideas on how low it'll be before we get most of characters back? Given usual schedule, and amount of characters, going to assume it'll take a couple of months minimum.
Not an insult about amount of content - considering weekly releases, its a neat amount per patch - but given that combined with amount of missing content in act 3 (between characters and the assumedly-needing-replacing-due-to-character-changes H scenes), I might need to put off weekly downloads for a bit because it'll be some time before we can really do much in act 3. If I want stuff to do in the game at the moment I'm better off with my act 2 save, which won't need updates to play.
I should be done repopulating the Manor within the next two updates, at which point the game world map will start to open up again, but no estimates on when Act Three is going to be as populated as Act Two, I'm afraid.
This is the curse of a solo dev on a weekly schedule :P Bearing in mind that Act Two was over two years in the making, and that I have to redo every single map scene, all the girls' outfits and some of their models, and you can see that it's going to take a little while to get everything up and running again.
On the plus side, the more I get done the faster the subsequent content will be, so every update will speed up every future update :)
Glad to hear the manor will be refilled as soon as that, though think I'm still going to have to wait a month or so. I enjoy being able to actually do stuff between events, so whilst don't need it to be quite as expansive as act 2, do need a little more to do first. Happy to wait though - let's face it, your update cycle is way faster than most developers, where you're lucky to get an update every three or four months (not complaining about them either, just stating fact).
All in all though, would prefer having to wait a bit before I play again to seeing the game suffer from over-hasty updates. So by all means glad to see you're taking the time to make it work :)
I just downloaded this game and played for a few days and its amazing. Its the first h game and visual novel i havnt gotten bored of after a few hours. I had a few questions related to the game (mainly design wise)
Will all the girls be ae to get pregnant eventually?
Will the children have a role other than just flavor?
How many acts are gonna be in the final product?
And lastly are there plans for more shortstacks/tiny girls? (I really like a good size difference XD )

As to your questions:
1. The idea is for almost all Main Girls (Roxy, Qarinah and Lyx are either "no" or "maybe"), most Side Girls and some One-shot Girls to be able to to be impregnated.
2. The pregnancy system is entirely optional and can be turned off in the Preferences menu, so they'll never have more than a supporting role in the game.
3. There will be three acts, plus an epilogue
4. No specific plans for more girls right now (there are 17 main girls, over 20 side girls and even more one-shot girls currently) but the upcoming story does require more characters so one or more of them may be shortstack ;)

Im super excited to see where the story goes from here. Lyx is a "maybe-leaning-towards-yes", and Qarinah is a "maybe, but it'd be a dream pregnancy so she could muck around with it and the resulting kid wouldn't be in the daycare" so it gets confusing ;P

I have now gotten the manor nexus and maxed the love of every main girl except chastity and jessica, I will continue to cross my fingers for lyx and would be okay with dream waifu having a dream baby XD.
On a side note congratulations your H game made me cry and im not ashamed to admit it, after constant nightmares while playing (im on day 196) I had finally finished the Qarinah romance and contentedly returned to the manor to sleep and as the nightmare started to see Qarinah defend MC made me shed a happy tear for the MC.
If you're on pc just go to where you have the game stored, open the old version folder, then open the game folder and copy the folder that's named saves. Now just head back to the folder with the current version and paste the saves folder into the game folder there
You actually don't have to do this. All saves on PC, Mac and Linux are saved to two locations - one is in the game's "saves" folder and the other is stored in a separate location on your computer. When you load up a new version the game will search for saves in both locations and move them from the external folder into the "saves" folder for you if the "saves" folder is empty :)
In short, on PC, Mac and Linux you just extract the new version to a fresh folder and play!
Something i´d love to see (that may very well be in the process) is different animations for the diff levels of "services". Like past "Too much teeth" Gets a different animation, as well as the kissing that would be awesome
It's the kind of detail I'd love to include, but as a solo dev on a weekly release schedule it's sadly not feasible without adding another year or two to the development time and shrinking the amount of new content in each release.
Maybe during the polish phase, once the game's in beta :)

Go to the Outskirts map (the one with the farm) and click on the "EXPLORE" button. Then keep exploring and once you run out of events, pay attention to the text hints :)

Day 9 (I think): Damn my guys, that was a crazy week, not in a good way, I'm exhausted, couldn't write the next lists; who cares.
Anyways, Day 3 was kinda the end, I can't say that much about the others; either we have almost no content about them, they are almost a booty call, they're Lyx (don't get me wrong she's great, love her and Johnny) or someone like Chole, I feel bad for her. Poor thingy. It feels wrong in a way.
But yeah, that was the great list about the +50 characters but not a list and speedrun, I'm gonna return to my hole, so call me in 2 days. Drink water and remember: your nose looks great.

U know what really REALLY sucks. Not only are we unsure about the safety of everyone including your kids. Not only are we unsure of whats going to happen. But unless arcadean had a shit load of act 3 already preped and ready to be implemented. We can only get so much every week...kinda wish I waited a month before doing the act 2 finale

I am going, to be honest, I think that the fey that you helped except Morgana is going to side with the Mc since it would make sense but the store is good at plot twists I'm not going to expect it but maybe they will help. Ruin can be avoided if The mc Believes in his bonds of his comrades.
Gotta say, this game blew my mind. I was expecting the usual low effort, your-here-for-the-porn-anyway game experience that porn games are pretty much known for. What I got was me being addicted to this game and characters (and putting off some rl things I shouldn't have) that was a real treat I haven't gotten from non-porn games in a long, long time.
So thanks to the dev for reminding this old hermit why games are magic again. I had a blast.

As for the Quiet Girl, that's on purpose. MC even comments on how odd it is (and if you try to do naughty things with the class at Max Authority, she reacts even odder). Quiet Girl mysteries, plus the mystery of the Sword Girl, will be revealed in Act Three (provided you max out Authority before doing the Act Two finale) :)
Wait i just realized in end of act 3 Aunt jessie said that there's fighting and everything is utter chaos and had to board the mansion but what about the kids the daycare? will they be alright?
If I remember correctly, we can't enter the farm at night because some protection or something, so Annie maybe has a back up plan, but it would be great if the kids went with their mothers too.

I'm quite curious about the mysterious merchant. I mean, I know that there are plenty of games (Resident Evil, RPG games and others) where there is a merchant wearing clothes that cover the whole body, making he or she look anonymous. Yes, on these games, the merchant is just a single-purpose NPC, which the purpose is to just sell and buy. However, there is something slightly different about this mysterious merchant on CK, I can't exactly point my finger on it, though. It seems that she knows more about the MC and the secrets of the game's world than I (the player) do and than she is letting out. Also, I don't know whether it means something or not, but her background music is kinda... Unique? Different?
Maybe she has something to do with 25's prophecy...
I've come here today to ask you, Arcadean: Are we going to learn more about her? Is she going to have a fundamental role during act 3? I mean, yes, she is just a mysterious merchant, but she seems to know too much to be ignored, not mentioning that she also has powers and seems to be too dangerous (she turned men into her horses).
I suspect she is a multidimensional legendary fey :P
Sorry, she just caught too much of my attention... Perhaps she is just a side character like the summoner and her pet.
Good eye - yes, the Mysterious Merchant is important (and those horses may not be exactly what they seem, either) and you will learn a little more about her in Act Three.
CK is the first in a planned trilogy, though, so some secrets may have to wait for the sequels... sorry! ;)
Am I the only one who finished the story of act 2 but didn't do all the side quests and is stuck in the room of the mansion without being able to get out. Is it a bug ?
This is probably a really stupid question. When you finally wake up and you ask if any of your friends were okay my guy said, "If I kindled my friendship" and stuff does that mean I picked some wrong decisions? Or didn't do something prior. I know I met all the side girls I think. Sorry if this is literally said after that line I wanted to know before I keep going thanks love the game :D!
The only "kindle" MC mentions is that "The kindling was there already, but I... I was the match. And now..." which is in reference to the start of the conflict in Act Three :)
If you got all the girls up to level four love (except for Morgana) and did all the side-girl content, and maxed out Authority in the College then you should have access to all the content as it's revealed in Act Three, so no worries!
There are some "wrong" choices that you can make, but I will always make sure that there are ways to undo the consequences of those choices if you're clever :)
You mean how to download a patch? If you're on PC, Mac or Linux just use the Itch App and you can get patches that way :) If you're on Android then sadly no patches are available - Ren'py wasn't built with patching in mind.
720p, actually - for reasons of filesize, primarily. I wanted to make sure that I could keep the game's filesize as low as possible because I know a lot of people don't have good connections, or have data caps, and I want to make their lives as easy as possible :)
Is there a version of the game that I can download that is higher Quality? I have gb wifi and have no problem with that. Would I have to pay for it? And thanks for taking the time to reply

Your right Arc they are a mad man for doing that even though they know they can go back to their old save files after an update wich your only forced to do if your on mobile
Yes. Hook your phone up to your pc and browse the game folder. The folder you're looking for is named "saves", simply copy that folder into the game folder and it should work.

It could be any number of things, though the most likely is not enough storage space available if you're on Android, which I'm assuming you are. What exactly are you doing, and what error message are you getting?
after just constantly retrying to update it eventually did do it, I'm not really sure what happened as I didn't do anything besides just retrying again and again to update it.
Dammit I lost all of my data it was on my SD Card and my SD Card got stuck in my headphones 😭 I'll have to wait before I get to play this masterpiece again, wait until my headphones are destroyed so I can get my card back 😭
Ouch... sorry to hear that! You can use someone else's save file if you head over to the CK Discord server, but they may have made different decisions than you. Still, might be worth it instead of having to start again! :)

I'm not fairyfobic, but my eyes see first and I have ((neuron activation)) but mostly with wheyfus and MILFS. Small size and/or young aged waifus aren't my favorites and cause me no reaction. Still, Pixie is adorable, kinda clingy but adorable; wouldn't change her for anything and her daughter is the cutest thing I've ever seen. She will always be in my top 10. Unless...
Emma & Kana: Yep, I feel that both of them are very similar (well Kana is a bit more naughty but that's her mother's fault (That wolf was fiiiiinnee)) Very lovely girls (technically half breed I believe). Need some Insulin when they are around because those sweeties and her daughters are deadly. (I waited a really long time praying for an event with Emma and her daughter and now that I have it, we almost died :/ )
Veronica: Tsunderes aren't my type but Veronica is irresistible (please FBI I swear she looked older). Anyways, poor soul, she really needs attention, living in a house where she didn't received enough love, being stupidly rich but that's not important. I wish I could bring her home (no, officer, that's not what I meant!!) Either way, that wouldn't work.
Lily: Really like that chick; tough girl, independent, cunning, confident, hot, big bike and she knows how to serve drinks. I only see good things. And no confrontation with the father. What more could you ask for??

Girls like Kanna and Pixie are actually older than you probably think also all girls are at least 18,19 or even 20-30 and so on so don't worry about the FBI I'm sure they already checked the ages of the girls and would probably tell you the same that they are all 18 or above
Veronica is still in college so can't really know. Pixie and Kana are not human (in a way) so they can be hundreds of years old. So no problem there. Veronica is my only concern...
well she is in college wich means she's out of highschool and sure her mom could have just paid for her to go without a highschool diploma but regardless I still think she's at least 18 or even 19 but she makes it sound like she's like 17 or so which for your sake and everyone that likes her that isn't the case
NOTE: If you're running Android 11+ then Google has hidden your data folder. To access it you need to connect your phone to your PC with a USB cable or use an app like Solid Explorer or X-Plore to give you access to the folder again.
Also, have you checked to see if your autosaves are still there? (On the "Load" page, click on the "A" to the left of the page numbers)
Unfortunately all the data is gone kinda like the game restarted, and i still dont understand what you need to do with the link. Do you need to put it in the game file or something?
Specially registered on the website, for the sake of this game. I liked it too much. Hats off to the developer, I respect smart and thinking people. This game has become my second favorite, among 18+ games. The first is mgq and mgqp, the second is this one. I respect and love when the game has enough content, smart dialogues and a plot. When the submission to the script is done correctly. I can't wait to go through the plot (I'm stuck in the Artifact location). My apologies if it turned out to be a crooked translation into English.

I'm curious about update V0.16.7 and what will change and the bug fixes but we're all waiting for act 3 wich will most likely be V0.17.0a or at least I'm guessing also only very few bugs on Android so far so that's good
That would be Claire, and there will be a lot more content with her in Act Three :)
And yeah, it's going to take a little time to establish the new state of the world and the fate of each of the characters in Act Three - there's a lot of girls to get through! :P But hopefully the reveal for each one will be interesting, and with each reveal the game world will open up more and more. Just found out there are around 50-60 girls in the game; quite decent amount (honestly I thought there were 20 or 30 max. No wonder how we are entertained so long). But to be fair some of them are in groups like the Big Three or the Car Wash Girls, so if necessary I'll address some of them as a group and not as individuals. And I'll put 5 a day to make things quick. Today's selection: number 4 to number 8 of my favorites. Who would guess it: MILFS.

Madison: Quite a personality innit? Begins dominant ends submissive (kinda). A blonde hungry of power but of affection too. Gorgeous woman. Still feel a little bit bad for her husband tho.
Laura: It's kinda unfair to put her down here if Renee is up there but reasons. Nah, I just like Renee more. She reminds me of Chun Li so... cosplay!! Just kidding. The fact that Jessica gets jealous because of Laura is just, chef kiss, adorable.

As to your questions:
1. The idea is for almost all Main Girls (Roxy, Qarinah and Lyx are either "no" or "maybe"), most Side Girls and some One-shot Girls to be able to to be impregnated.
2. The pregnancy system is entirely optional and can be turned off in the Preferences menu, so they'll never have more than a supporting role in the game.
3. There will be three acts, plus an epilogue
4. No specific plans for more girls right now (there are 17 main girls, over 20 side girls and even more one-shot girls currently) but the upcoming story does require more characters so one or more of them may be shortstack ;)

Im super excited to see where the story goes from here. Lyx is a "maybe-leaning-towards-yes", and Qarinah is a "maybe, but it'd be a dream pregnancy so she could muck around with it and the resulting kid wouldn't be in the daycare" so it gets confusing ;P

I have now gotten the manor nexus and maxed the love of every main girl except chastity and jessica, I will continue to cross my fingers for lyx and would be okay with dream waifu having a dream baby XD.
On a side note congratulations your H game made me cry and im not ashamed to admit it, after constant nightmares while playing (im on day 196) I had finally finished the Qarinah romance and contentedly returned to the manor to sleep and as the nightmare started to see Qarinah defend MC made me shed a happy tear for the MC.
How do you transfer your progress to the latest version?
If you're on pc just go to where you have the game stored, open the old version folder, then open the game folder and copy the folder that's named saves. Now just head back to the folder with the current version and paste the saves folder into the game folder there
You actually don't have to do this. All saves on PC, Mac and Linux are saved to two locations - one is in the game's "saves" folder and the other is stored in a separate location on your computer. When you load up a new version the game will search for saves in both locations and move them from the external folder into the "saves" folder for you if the "saves" folder is empty :)
In short, on PC, Mac and Linux you just extract the new version to a fresh folder and play!
I updated from the itch launcher and it didn't bring over the saves for me, only the autosaves.
If you're on mobile you just need to install the apk file as an update without uninstalling the current version.

It's the kind of detail I'd love to include, but as a solo dev on a weekly release schedule it's sadly not feasible without adding another year or two to the development time and shrinking the amount of new content in each release.

Day 9 (I think): Damn my guys, that was a crazy week, not in a good way, I'm exhausted, couldn't write the next lists; who cares.
Anyways, Day 3 was kinda the end, I can't say that much about the others; either we have almost no content about them, they are almost a booty call, they're Lyx (don't get me wrong she's great, love her and Johnny) or someone like Chole, I feel bad for her. Poor thingy. It feels wrong in a way.
But yeah, that was the great list about the +50 characters but not a list and speedrun, I'm gonna return to my hole, so call me in 2 days. Drink water and remember: your nose looks great.

U know what really REALLY sucks. Not only are we unsure about the safety of everyone including your kids. Not only are we unsure of whats going to happen. But unless arcadean had a shit load of act 3 already preped and ready to be implemented. We can only get so much every week...kinda wish I waited a month before doing the act 2 finale

Gotta say, this game blew my mind. I was expecting the usual low effort, your-here-for-the-porn-anyway game experience that porn games are pretty much known for. What I got was me being addicted to this game and characters (and putting off some rl things I shouldn't have) that was a real treat I haven't gotten from non-porn games in a long, long time.

As for the Quiet Girl, that's on purpose. MC even comments on how odd it is (and if you try to do naughty things with the class at Max Authority, she reacts even odder). Quiet Girl mysteries, plus the mystery of the Sword Girl, will be revealed in Act Three (provided you max out Authority before doing the Act Two finale) :)
Wait i just realized in end of act 3 Aunt jessie said that there's fighting and everything is utter chaos and had to board the mansion but what about the kids the daycare? will they be alright?
If I remember correctly, we can't enter the farm at night because some protection or something, so Annie maybe has a back up plan, but it would be great if the kids went with their mothers too.
They have Annie and Kana with them, and the daycare was built to withstand whatever Fey abilities the kids may manifest which should help.
On the other hand, they're also isolated, right next to Morgana's HQ, a war is going on around them and rumours have spread that MC is dead.
So basically... who knows?

I'm quite curious about the mysterious merchant. I mean, I know that there are plenty of games (Resident Evil, RPG games and others) where there is a merchant wearing clothes that cover the whole body, making he or she look anonymous. Yes, on these games, the merchant is just a single-purpose NPC, which the purpose is to just sell and buy. However, there is something slightly different about this mysterious merchant on CK, I can't exactly point my finger on it, though. It seems that she knows more about the MC and the secrets of the game's world than I (the player) do and than she is letting out. Also, I don't know whether it means something or not, but her background music is kinda... Unique? Different?
Maybe she has something to do with 25's prophecy...
I've come here today to ask you, Arcadean: Are we going to learn more about her? Is she going to have a fundamental role during act 3? I mean, yes, she is just a mysterious merchant, but she seems to know too much to be ignored, not mentioning that she also has powers and seems to be too dangerous (she turned men into her horses).
I suspect she is a multidimensional legendary fey :P
Sorry, she just caught too much of my attention... Perhaps she is just a side character like the summoner and her pet.
Good eye - yes, the Mysterious Merchant is important (and those horses may not be exactly what they seem, either) and you will learn a little more about her in Act Three.
CK is the first in a planned trilogy, though, so some secrets may have to wait for the sequels... sorry! ;)

Am I the only one who finished the story of act 2 but didn't do all the side quests and is stuck in the room of the mansion without being able to get out. Is it a bug ?
It's not a bug dw. It's like the previous version where you had to wait with artifact until the next update.

This is probably a really stupid question. When you finally wake up and you ask if any of your friends were okay my guy said, "If I kindled my friendship" and stuff does that mean I picked some wrong decisions? Or didn't do something prior. I know I met all the side girls I think. Sorry if this is literally said after that line I wanted to know before I keep going thanks love the game :D!
The only "kindle" MC mentions is that "The kindling was there already, but I... I was the match. And now..." which is in reference to the start of the conflict in Act Three :)
If you got all the girls up to level four love (except for Morgana) and did all the side-girl content, and maxed out Authority in the College then you should have access to all the content as it's revealed in Act Three, so no worries!
There are some "wrong" choices that you can make, but I will always make sure that there are ways to undo the consequences of those choices if you're clever :)

You mean how to download a patch? If you're on PC, Mac or Linux just use the Itch App and you can get patches that way :) If you're on Android then sadly no patches are available - Ren'py wasn't built with patching in mind.

720p, actually - for reasons of filesize, primarily. I wanted to make sure that I could keep the game's filesize as low as possible because I know a lot of people don't have good connections, or have data caps, and I want to make their lives as easy as possible :)

It could be any number of things, though the most likely is not enough storage space available if you're on Android, which I'm assuming you are. What exactly are you doing, and what error message are you getting?
after just constantly retrying to update it eventually did do it, I'm not really sure what happened as I didn't do anything besides just retrying again and again to update it.
Dammit I lost all of my data it was on my SD Card and my SD Card got stuck in my headphones 😭 I'll have to wait before I get to play this masterpiece again, wait until my headphones are destroyed so I can get my card back 😭

Ouch... sorry to hear that! You can use someone else's save file if you head over to the CK Discord server, but they may have made different decisions than you. Still, might be worth it instead of having to start again! :)

Today the girls are from the 9 to the 14. From this point, the girls aren't bad but FOR ME they aren't as good as the top 8.
Pixie: Pixie is very down in this list (not proud about it) considering she's our companion throughout the game. It's just that.... she's a fairy. I'm not fairyfobic, but my eyes see first and I have ((neuron activation)) but mostly with wheyfus and MILFS. Small size and/or young aged waifus aren't my favorites and cause me no reaction. Still, Pixie is adorable, kinda clingy but adorable; wouldn't change her for anything and her daughter is the cutest thing I've ever seen. She will always be in my top 10. Unless...
Emma & Kana: Yep, I feel that both of them are very similar (well Kana is a bit more naughty but that's her mother's fault (That wolf was fiiiiinnee)) Very lovely girls (technically half breed I believe). Need some Insulin when they are around because those sweeties and her daughters are deadly. (I waited a really long time praying for an event with Emma and her daughter and now that I have it, we almost died :/ )
Veronica: Tsunderes aren't my type but Veronica is irresistible (please FBI I swear she looked older). Anyways, poor soul, she really needs attention, living in a house where she didn't received enough love, being stupidly rich but that's not important. I wish I could bring her home (no, officer, that's not what I meant!!) Either way, that wouldn't work.
Lily: Really like that chick; tough girl, independent, cunning, confident, hot, big bike and she knows how to serve drinks. I only see good things. And no confrontation with the father. What more could you ask for??
Qarinah: Succubus, love them or hate them. I love HER. She is... interesting to say the least. Would like to know more about her so she doesn't have a breakdown (breakdown, breakdown) again. She can do multiple roles at the same time. Jeje. A shame that it's just in dream land. Kinda.
Girls like Kanna and Pixie are actually older than you probably think also all girls are at least 18,19 or even 20-30 and so on so don't worry about the FBI I'm sure they already checked the ages of the girls and would probably tell you the same that they are all 18 or above

NOTE: If you're running Android 11+ then Google has hidden your data folder. To access it you need to connect your phone to your PC with a USB cable or use an app like Solid Explorer or X-Plore to give you access to the folder again.
Also, have you checked to see if your autosaves are still there? (On the "Load" page, click on the "A" to the left of the page numbers)

Specially registered on the website, for the sake of this game. I liked it too much. Hats off to the developer, I respect smart and thinking people. This game has become my second favorite, among 18+ games. The first is mgq and mgqp, the second is this one. I respect and love when the game has enough content, smart dialogues and a plot. When the submission to the script is done correctly. I can't wait to go through the plot (I'm stuck in the Artifact location). My apologies if it turned out to be a crooked translation into English.

Just found out there are around 50-60 girls in the game; quite decent amount (honestly I thought there were 20 or 30 max. No wonder how we are entertained so long). But to be fair some of them are in groups like the Big Three or the Car Wash Girls, so if necessary I'll address some of them as a group and not as individuals. As for your posting about the girls of CK, well, I see you've already started but... but post away! Always great to hear people's opinions of the girls, game world and so on - positive or negative.

Number 3: Maybe and just maybe... It's both. Always watching. Always behind. You always knew it, right?? Those times writing, sitting, eating; the feeling that you are not alone. I know who you are, I know what you do and if you don't do a full 360, no scope, headshot with only thumbs with exaggerated music and the Doritos logo and Snoop Dogg, I will reach you while you sleep.
