I'm extremely busy with work and studies irl, so GROVE is tertiary to other priorities as a whole. Most of my break has been spent on development, so you'll likely have to deal with future month-long gaps in news and updates.
We understand many players are very keen for updates and the such, and we do appreciate the enthusiasm! The game is free because we know we can't consistently provide updates, and it allows us to have a bit of wriggle room to experiment with other projects in the future in tandem with Grove. We're not opening up a Patreon as a result, as that would turn this into another job with obligations that we cannot reasonably fulfill.
Hopefully the next update will tide you and the other players over for a good while~ We might consider releasing a few interim updates between this and future versions, but that would be something we'll need to discuss internally.

Love the game just wondering once the new content comes out will i need to progress a second save to see all the content, like for example will i need a high and low corruption save or a version for each bandit option or some new thing in the new content in order to see all major scenes, versus having a backup play through the other option and that being the end of that paths new content once it recombines with the main story progression
A bit of a multi-faceted question, so I'll break it into chunks:
You should be able to import your saves from the previous version, and we'll leave a 'save file transfer guide' in the download.
If you want to witness everything in the game, you'll need a higher corruption playthrough, yes. A few events are locked behind corruption score, and also corruption gain has its own unique moments.
As for the bandit option... well, there's mutually exclusive content for both decisions, so you'll have to pick one way or the other (or do both). We can't spoil how it will affect you in the future though, so... this decision is up to you.
Hope that answers all your questions. It's ultimately up to you if you wanna make multiple saves, but hopefully now you have the information you need to make that decision.
There are some dialogue adjustments and things... but no substantial content or scenes at the moment, no. Remaining 'pure' will have more effects towards the end of the story, we think.
This is one of the best NSFW games I've ever played, the characters are sexy, the scenes are hot, and the kinks featured are some of my absolute favorites

Within the engine that we're using (RPG Maker MV) there isn't an easier way for a more integrated save/load system. We'd have to look into custom made plug-ins / mods... but it's not something we've looked into too much at the moment.
Otherwise though, thank you very much for the kind and enthusiastic praise of the game! I hope that you'll continue enjoying your time with the game, and grow fond of even more characters... and maybe, just maybe, you'll see more of the folks you enjoy the most in future content~!
Hello there developers! I have a question that has been bugging me ever since I started playing this game. I am a sucker for how the artists of this game draw and display rubber/latex and its varieties. Ranging from the game over of becoming a rubbery drone (My favorite ending by the way) to my absolute favorite item, the rubbery jockstrap(?), I am obsessed with our dear Grover and his interaction with latex/rubber. My question is, are there any plans for more rubber/latex content in the future?
I also am curious if there are any plans in the future for our dear Grover to potentially transform/grow in any sort of way? I always enjoy it when shy fellows get big (Take that however you wish). It would also possibly be cool for any sort of goo/slime/rubber/etc that could transform our pride (*wink*) into another, like an equine's or dragons?
To sum up, I ask if there are any plans for more rubber/latex content and potential enlargement/transformation content. Thank you so much for reading my lengthy comment, and I really hope this game gets all the love it deserves, and you developers keep getting all the praise you deserve for such a fine product! This may seem like a silly question but I am curious; given that it appears the game hasn't seen an update of any kind in nearly a year, after such a lengthy hiatus, when the new update does come, will it even be the same game or has the game been taken in a new direction with the original ideas lost? I don't know what the situation is regarding this game's development history so I'm not familiar with why there was such a long hiatus. I just know that several months ago, I played it through to its current ending point and I enjoyed it very much. Just wasn't sure if it was ever going to see another update for awhile there.

If you're in the desert, your destination is in the top-right corner, down some stairs. Make sure to walk around in the dark shady areas so you don't overheat on the way.
Heyo! I hate to do this but I am having difficulty with a certain area within the map. I'm not quite sure how to pass the 'Periphery Jungle Entrence/Upper' area. Am I missing an exit or a specific enemy I need to defeat in order to pass it? It's been boggling my noggle for a couple of hours now and I am completely lost. Any help is appreciated. I can include screenshots of the area if need be.
No specific enemies or anything you need to do, other than to find the path forward. In both cases, the way you need to go is to the top-right of the area... though of course, there's a bit of jumping and navigation in order to get there.
Just to double-check though... have you already rescued a certain somebody from the jungle? Because if so, then you are going in the wrong direction. There's a new path forward in the jungle camp area.
Hopefully this can help you out, whatever your situation may be.

Hello devs, I would like to ask one think, I have a safe file that I thought I wanted to transfer to a new update version, but the problem for me is that I forgot to talk to Kuno after rescued him, so I miss the first unlockable outfit, so I thought that I would have to start over a game to unlock everything until the next update, I don't mind it, but just want to ask, if there will be any other ways to unlock every outfit in the future updates if I miss some, I just like it when I have 100% of the game completed, BTW following your game since last year and really anxious about next update
We are indeed considering ways to get some of the armour sets and things you might have otherwise missed. I can't promise everything will have alternate ways to acquire it though... but Kuno's 'Ranger Gear' you'll be able to acquire later, yeah.

Just wanted to let you know of a bug in the Mac version (0.204). When you try to answer the question to enable/disable in-battle grapple voices you receive the attached error.
I believe this is a case of needing to extract the game files first, not running it directly from the archive
There should be some tutorials laying around on the internet... but I think you can just make a new folder on the desktop (call it 'GroveGame', or something along those lines), then open the original downloaded archive until you see the 'Game.app' file and the 'credits.html' file. Drag those out of the archive folder, and put it into your newly created 'GroveGame' folder
I don't think MacOS can edit files when they're archived, hence the need to extract them first and the 'read-only' mention in the error message! Let us know if the above solution works out for you.
Quite confidant! I don't want to say absolutely certain, since we can never be 100% sure, but we're pretty confidant you should be able to go straight into the new content if that's your desire!
Not any time soon. I won't bore you with the technical details, but the game would require some fairly significant asset reworks, downgrades and compression to run well on mobile and be in a state where we can say "yes, this is a version worth playing".
If you REALLY want to play it... there's JoiPlay or MaldiVes emulators. They're playable, but they both have bugs and performance issues and they don't have our endorsement; don't complain to us if it's not an ideal experience.
Equip the slimy black underwear you get from rescuing the ranger from the blue slimes. Then proceed all the way to the east / right, past the green slimes, and this scene will eventually trigger.
You can unlock it on an old save and it'll appear in your current gallery, so don't worry about playing the whole game again.
Eventually the Auxillary division will set up in the top left of the village look around there until you find the tent you get shouted at for looking in.
just finished the latest part of the story, how do I get all the oddities and the last armor set and whatever it is that goes into the personal storage space? (I only got the bun and idk how haha)
If you've reached the north and can't proceed any further, that means you need to go somewhere else.
The game should have teleported you back to the inn. It should have also said a message that you can't go further... and that your new path should be to the south...
But if you somehow missed ALL of that... start from outside the inn. Go down as far as you can. Then go all the way left. All the way out to the cliffside. And at the cliffside, you can go even further south / down.
For the first, you want to get a slime slab from the green slime dragons in the cave. You can do that by letting them grapple you to completion when you have more than 50 STM, and then using the nearby fire...
Take the slime slab back to the wizard at the inn, ask about "oddity", there'll be a scene... and then the slime cast will appear at the blacksmith's place. Interact with it... and the scene will play out.
The second one requires having 10 or more Corruption. You can raise this by getting slimesuited by the slime dragons, just make sure to recover after each one.
Once you have that amount... go to the campsite to the west / left of the inn, and try repeatedly to enter the tent...!
I know i'm a little late but, i'm also struggling getting that second one to work, does this need to happen at a certain point in the game? or can you get it after you finish it?
You need to get it before the Auxiliary Commander's office is finishing being built, whilst he's still using the tent. That is to say, you need to do it before you finish the Slug Den quest.

Maybe! Late December, or early January. It depends how the next few weeks treat us. The holiday season can be very unpredictable.

My birthday is on the 4/12. And I'm rooting for the next update to be my birthday present and Christmas present for everyone who loves this game.
The game is very good, I've replayed this version several times.
A big question is what happens to the bandits if we choose to help them with the machine.

You can unlock it on an old save and it'll appear in your current gallery, so don't worry about playing the whole game again.

Get your corruption to 10 or higher then poke around the wrong person's tent.
where is the wrong person's tent?
Eventually the Auxillary division will set up in the top left of the village look around there until you find the tent you get shouted at for looking in.
Can you take a picture of the location and show me?
The top picture is how to get there (Grove is on the far left of the screen), bottom picture is the place you need to look around

I'm stuck at Northern Gulch, pls help
If you've reached the north and can't proceed any further, that means you need to go somewhere else.
The game should have teleported you back to the inn. It should have also said a message that you can't go further... and that your new path should be to the south...
But if you somehow missed ALL of that... start from outside the inn. Go down as far as you can. Then go all the way left. All the way out to the cliffside. And at the cliffside, you can go even further south / down.
Anyone got some tips? I'm stuck on a few.

You find yourself entering a western path... and pestering a newcomer and his tent. Suddenly your corruption flares up...
Anyone know these ones?
For the first, you want to get a slime slab from the green slime dragons in the cave. You can do that by letting them grapple you to completion when you have more than 50 STM, and then using the nearby fire...
Take the slime slab back to the wizard at the inn, ask about "oddity", there'll be a scene... and then the slime cast will appear at the blacksmith's place. Interact with it... and the scene will play out.
The second one requires having 10 or more Corruption. You can raise this by getting slimesuited by the slime dragons, just make sure to recover after each one.
Once you have that amount... go to the campsite to the west / left of the inn, and try repeatedly to enter the tent...!
I know i'm a little late but, i'm also struggling getting that second one to work, does this need to happen at a certain point in the game? or can you get it after you finish it?
You need to get it before the Auxiliary Commander's office is finishing being built, whilst he's still using the tent. That is to say, you need to do it before you finish the Slug Den quest.
I just started the game and I wanna ask, is there a way to be a dom in this?
further, is there a way to do stuff like taking advantage of when the ranger meets up with the slime? I'd love it if that was an option
like, defeating the monsters that capture others then using their own tricks into corrupting them to your whims instead of theirs, that'd be cool haha
At the moment there are no scenes that involve dominating your enemies or corrupting other characters.
