The only logistical changes are new images for the image files and edits to the script for code and dialogue, so I really can't tell. A different anti virus might act differently.
People have been so brainwashed into believing they need this anti virus or that anti virus. Windows 10 and now 11, has really made anti viruses pretty much redundant, thanks to the os av been superior to anything out there., which makes sense given it was created for the os by the people who built it in the first place.
The amount of hardware protection in modern pc's also negate the need for an external av. They generally cause more problems than they fix. An never ending commitment to be scammed by the av companies because they know you don't need them, so they use their propaganda to try and sell people something they don't even need, and people get sucked in.
People clearly don't have a clue how good w10/11 av protection is. along with its firewall...unlike the crap they created in w7 when you did need an external av because windows defender was nothing but a bad joke. I guess m$ learned their lesson from those days, and they pretty much have new developers from w10.
There is also some kind of bizarre myth that people get infected visiting porn sites. That isn't true, all the top sites are constantly monitoring their security and are probably the cleanest sites people might ever visit, because if they where not, no one would visit them and they wouldn't be in business.

Yes, that is true. Sorry, not all scenes are linked to fast travel. I would like to get there eventually, it just isn't very easy to properly put them in their places. Thank you for playing the game!
I have heard some people talk about writing one. If someone makes one I'll post it on my discord, and reference it in this site, but I am not working on one personally. It is important, but it does slow down story-creation so it is low on my list of things to get done. I'm definitely keeping it in mind though.
Yellow options suggest that there is a scene associated with it. It's a way for people to miss less scenes in a run. I tend to make options yellow if it is possible to miss the choice and therefore miss a scene because of it.

Back after an hour, yup definitely enjoying the stories so far. Tried out both Explore and Fast Travel mode. Took me a bit to realize I could still explore and interact with the side characters as well while on Fast Travel, but that's on me for being slow xD
I'm going to try to reupload the PC Zip then. Might be an issue between me and Itchio. Sorry about that. I'm not sure what the deal is, it has worked just fine for me and my testers before. Should be done a few hours from this message.
I've definitely heard of this issue before. I can't vouch for the app, but the game should run on its own in Renpy with an independent download. It doesn't take anything extra on your end. Sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully that's not too much of a hassle.
Replays are based on scenes you have seen. They should unlock as long as you go that route. Some earlier scenes are missable, the ones with colored (yellow) text can sometimes be missed. Galleries are similar, except they are based on the images themselves and all images of the scene must be seen.
You should see most of the scenes and images if you often save and return to yellow options, all if you visit every option you can.
The rarest case, some characters have scenes that show up in another character's storyline. If you are very curious about a specific scene you can ask here or on my discord. People are very helpful with hints and stuff!
Thank you for the report! Try using the option to wait at the servant's quarter after fast travel. Sometimes the fast travel option doesn't hop directly to the scene. If that doesn't work, it's probably because someone else's route needs to be further along.

Hello, you are correct that by default renpy games on Android do not need this permission. That is because they write saves to app-specific folders. Unfortunately, those folders are deleted when the app is uninstalled. Which means that game updates that people play for a couple of days every few months must remain installed otherwise players will lose their progress.
So, some porters have taken to adding additional functionality to write saves in shared space, which is similar to what renpy does on other platforms. This way you can uninstall the game and your saves will remain until you install the next update. In order to provide that, Android requires file access permissions similar to apps that write shared media types like images.
It's also required for renpy games that want to move past the 2GB extended APK data limit (renpy supports only a single extension) or to apply external patches. This is game does not require that but it's the kind of feature that indeed requires those permissions you believe are only suited for File Managers.

The only suggestion I can think of is to play the game without the app. Download it separately. Does an error pop up or does the game just not start? If the game just doesn't start it is very hard to know exactly what the problem is, because it's not an error that happens for me. Sorry, it's very hard to test.
Hello! First of all, great game! Thoroughly enjoying it! Now, when following Magna's story, after winning her arena fights and talking with her after the fact, I get this error. Not entirely sure what it does since I just chose to ignore it and the scene I expected to play, played out anyways. Though, it's worth mentioning there was some dialogue referenced that was most likely skipped due to me hitting ignore. That's all that really seemed to be missing from this. Figured you'd like to know, so here you go. Again, great game!
Bit of an update now that I've progressed a bit past that part. Seems the game believes Magna is still recovering...permanently? If I try to leave to progress another girl's story, it says, "I probably shouldn't leave while Magna is still recovering." Attempting to summon Magna says, "Magna is still recovering and cannot respond..." Can't seem to progress past this point since I'm stuck on "Magna's recovery".
That's a critical error >.> I'll try to get a patch out. If anyone else is having this error, once you have the fix you will need to load a save from BEFORE Magna introduces her training scenes.
There's a patch out for it now. Remember, that file won't work properly, so you'll have to load an older save (Before Magna starts training with the MC)
I don't know if this only happens on my phone or not. My game experienced a force close during the June Succubus scene. I can't continue the game story because of the force close problem at that time. I outsmart it by loading the game and choosing no when offered to enter the room. i hope you understand what i mean, sorry my english is bad. Thanks, I really like this game.

I'm not sure what it could be. As long as you are running the WartribeAcademy.exe file it should work. It sounds like you might be using the Itch App. If that's the case, try switching to running it directly from the folder it's in. Or if you aren't using the Itch App try using that.

That is part of Magna's storyline. It happens after Magna visits the village. You get a chance to speak to different people in the village. Speak to the old man/village elder until he runs out of dialogue. Then use that sword in a fight against Magna's enemy.
Well this is just a suggestion... You dont really have to hire some actors you could just add some slap sounds or something ya know... You dont have to do it though it's your game you rule
I've noticed a bug or at least a mistake in thee story.
After you rescue Joy and return to your room, MC mentions an obedience potion suggested by the alchemist even though we haven't talked to anyone about what just happened so it doesn't make sense for us to be thinking of using that potion because we don't know about it.
i know iam replying out of the blue almost year later buuut is there a tiny chance in the faaar future that will happen? even the slightest chance as small as highest gacha pull.
It's not planned content, but I am not against making it. I have been working on Femboy/Trap content on the side as experimentation over the last year.
What that means is: I am NOT adding it to Wartribe Academy as cannon content. I could add it as completely optional/extra content if someone commissions it through Patreon. That's the gatcha pull for it to happen; it's pretty slim. Someone would have to pay $50 on Patreon and commission that scene. Given our MC's trajectory he wouldn't go for Ezra's trap, so this would be dream room content at best.

in the library reading the race book if you read about hybrids I believe there is no way to get out of the book without loading a save
