So I've been liking it so far but I'm quite disappointed how only the main character has an escape scenario/minigame and how little the other characters feature in the game over screens.
Just tried out the Linux version, seems to work well. Only problem: trying to run the file "Game" brings up a window with an error message ("undefined is not a function") and nothing else happens. But I can run a file called "nw" and the game works. I played till chapter 2 beginning, seems to work well (saving and loading also works). However, there is a warning message in the terminal: "Remote error from secret service: org.freedesktop.Secret.Error.IsLocked: Cannot create an item in a locked collection".
Does it matter or can I just ignore it?
BTW, thanks a lot for the game, I waited so long to finally play it. Keep up that fantastic work! I also gave you a $10 tip when buying. $20 seemed too cheap for a great game you put so much work in.
Oh, and I found a small bug: When you enter the mayor's house just after starting the story and talk to the person in the upper right, there is some text cut off. Something like "jokes never being funny to b" (begin with, I guess).
Hi! Thanks for the release. Please be informed that although files for Linux are added, Itch client still claims that game is available only for Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X. This gives an unpleasant side effect as inability to install the game on Linux distributions(please refer to attached screenshot).
I can still download game from the web browser itch.io page, so it's not a critical problem, but would be great to have installation working from itch.io desktop client :)
Just curious to know, will there be a version for Linux? Would be great to have one, of course if used game engine is cross-platform and can be compiled as ELF binary. And in general - thanks for the project :)
Hi! We will try to deploy a version for Linux, but some action may have to be taken on the player's side to make it work on their system. At least that is what our testers who own a Linux computer tell us about the Linux build.
I just tried the Linux demo and i had to update the NW.js for it to work. This means that the NW.js for Linux in your RPG Maker Engine is outdated. It would be great if you updated it so that us Linux users don’t need to do the extra steps of updating it ourselves.
For any Linux end-users trying to get this to work:
Go here and download the Stable Linux 64-bit NORMAL.
Extract it somewhere meaningful to you (this will become your game directory).
Copy or symlink nw.pak, package.json, and the www directory into the new extracted nwjs folder from step 2.
Rename nw to Game so that you remember what to run, and then run Game to start the game.
Been waiting for this one since I first played the original a long time ago. Easy day one purchase for me! I've been more hyped about this one than any other game out there, kinky or not.
Hi I am using a Mac Catalina, and it seems that after double-clicking the game.app (after turning the launcher into an executable file, or else I cannot even open it), nothing happens at all besides seeing that the game is 'running' and can be force quit. No windows, nothing. I had a taste of playing your games with an old laptop and I really want to get to play this one asap. Pls help
