Heck yeah, first try! Slow and steady wins the game!

Love me some old-school Minesweeper, but I did notice an annoying bug.

In the original, clicking both the left and right mouse buttons at the same time over a number after flagging the corresponding amount of mines would automatically open all the free spaces. That shortcut is here, but it takes between 3-5 attempts to register. This can be very problematic if you're trying to beat your old time, and a fix would be highly appreciated.

why do 60% of my games reveal only 1 tile on the first click

Can you add more shortcuts like space button to reset the game?

The smiley face will start a new game

Nice one

I don't get it. It's just a regular minesweeper

Shouldn’t the 2 in the middle be a 3, and de 1 in the right a 2?

The crossed out mine means you placed a flag where there was no mine so the middle 2 would still be correct.

WHY IS SO HARDDDDDD

When I try to retexture, what is the purple icon and border in the bottom-right? Thank you anyway! I love the game!

Any of the purple areas are unused by the game when uploading the texture. It's just extra space. The small grid icon in the bottom left is just to say that section is used as a 9-slice texture in Gamemaker

Oh, Thanks Man!

Minesweeper in general is fun and easy as long as you know how to use your brain.

i hate this game in a good way (i love this game)

could you release the source?

I'm currently going through and cleaning up my code, which is going to take a while, but this is something I may consider in the future.

Great minesweeper, keep on

Thank you!

Man i love minesweeper! However i think you missed a feature in the original, as in the original minesweeper when you click on a number it cleares all the unflagged squares around it. I'd love it if you could maybe add this in any future updates, that would make this perfect! I still love it tho and the themes are super cool!!

Thanks for the feedback! This should work in the desktop version. You need to left click while holding down the right mouse button. I believe there was an actual bug with Gamemaker's html export when I raised this with them that stops it from working in browser. I'm hoping to get back to this project soon and fix a few issues and add more features. Will take me a while to get through my spaghetti code though!

This should now be fixed with the web version. I've only tested it on Firefox so let me know if you have any issues with a different browser. Enjoy!

The feature is very close to the original minesweeper, but as someone who plays almost exclusively with the both-click, I can tell you it’s way too finicky right now. In the original version you activate this mode when you press left and right click together regardless of when you release each one, the only way to cancel out of this mode is to drag the mouse to a blank space or entirely off the board before releasing both clicks.

I would much prefer that to a release left click first approach, as the number of times I speed mashed down a row and only half the numbers cleared properly really stopped me from enjoying this version. This is so close to a perfect recreation that I’m really hoping you’ll patch this one mechanic, because I really missed this game and I was so happy to find a faithful clone. It’s excellent right now, it’s just this one mechanic that is different to what I’m used to and expect.

I forgot how much I missed Minesweeper, this really brought back nostalgia for me! The theme changes are also a really nice touch too!! I wish there were similar changes you could make for the numbers (different font, color, emojis, etc) but it doesn't take away from how fun the game is. Great job!!

Thanks, glad you liked it!

i got a 5

How unlucky, i died on my first hit.
(This shouldn't happen)

I'll make sure to fix that for the next update.
