Yo this is actually really fun. I was mouse my mouse around my screen randomly while scrolling and then clicked on this game. It's really cool! I can't wait for this to get expanded on soon. It's surprisingly adorable too lol
The art and the music are great! I really do want more levels. The timing doesn't feel quite right, but overall I think you should expand on this prototype!
This game is actually pretty good for modding because of the github page so you could actually send ninj your haxe files over if you want your mod in the game i'm guessing.
it wouldn't be too hard to make urself custom charts, but right now it would be a but clunky. I need to rework the charting system to probably be in-game or use some other charting program like Moonscraper (used for Clone Hero). Although I imagine at some point I'd want more custom scripting type shit and I'd have to implement it or do some hack-y shit myself. We'll see!
Look I'm sorry but is it just me or is the timing of the buttons vs what's on screen... off? It seems to want me to press the button just before the arrow is on the indicator as opposed to when the arrow is just right on it and RIGHT ON the beat which is where i want to groove to the music. It's REALLY throwing me off. Is anyone else having this problem?
It could be the 2 tracks getting desyncronized. There's the instrumental track, and then the vocal track, and while it's charted for the vocal track, its SYNCED with the instrumental track. So if the one of the track lags behind, I'm pretty sure it will cause things to feel out of time.
I really enjoy this game so far! Is there any way to skip straight to level 2? Like a cheat code or debug/level select. I've replayed it a few times now, and as wonderful as level 1 is, I keep itching for the faster pace and stylish sound of level 2.
