2D House Generator

This tool creates 2D house with a complex structure. I'd be happy to receive your feedback!

Controls

Press space or "Create!" to create a new one. In the top right corner there are parameters:

1. Suburb or high house
2. Add furniture
3. Add windows
4. Add doors
5. Add basement
6. Number of floors
7. Number of rooms on the first floor (stairs in high house don't count as rooms)

Click randomize to assign random values to parameters.

Drag with mouse, scroll wheel to zoom in/out.

Features

• Number of floors and rooms on each floor is random
• Rooms' sizes vary
• Every room has either two doors or a door and a window or two windows
• Some rooms merge into bigger ones
• Every upper floor can be reached by ladder

To-do list

• Make every floor truly accesible by changing stairs generation (fixed and added ladders)
• Add furniture
• Add wallpaper
• Create different types of rooms (e.g. kitchen, bedroom, hall, bathroom etc)
• Create different types of houses (for now there are suburb and high house)
• Maybe in future make a game out of it
• Fix autotile stairs issue (sometimes stairs connect in an odd way)
