Hey there Keepers & Raiders! Hope you're all doing well!
"Dungeon: Raid Her" has had a major overhaul and I'm very happy with it's current state. It might be the most I've ever added in a single update, so I hope you all enjoy!
There were just too many changes, but I'll do my best to list some of the bigger ones!
Combat is now a lot more satisfying, with better hit registration, feedback, queued inputs and weapon combos. The addition of Ranged Weapons and Skills allow you to be a lot more strategic with your character builds, making use of many different moves during combat.
A very much needed Lock-on System has been added, making combat a lot less frustrating.
Rescued allies or turned enemies now actually fight by your side, protecting you, tanking hits for you, or giving you long-range cover. In the future, with the addition of Settlement mechanics, Allies will have a longer stay in the game, as you'll be able to train and bring your favourite characters into new adventures.
Item Affixes allow your equipment to have permanent modifiers, with the total number of modifiers following item rarity.
These items will drop from Dungeon adventures, but you can also manually tinker with Affixes in the Camp!
Merileth now owns the Enchantment area of the Camp. For a few Gems, you can try your luck at getting better affixes or rerolling existing ones!
Some items have special affixes called Skills, completely changing the flow of combat in DRH! There are now so many different strategies, combinations and synergies for you to find out!
DRH now features 30+ hairstyles and 80+ different pieces of clothing, with many high quality assets having been added.
Items now come in many different color palettes! Dye Items have been introduced, allowing you to mix and match your favourite colors.
Full controller support has been added! Playing DRH with a controller might be a lot more intuitive for a lot of players (well -- the gameplay aspect at least, since you need both hands :P).
Following the accessibility theme, the UI has been reworked to make use of Radial menus and a proper Inventory screen!
Many different areas have been added, with distinct visual themes, biomes, music and enemies. More will be added as time goes on!
A scalable difficulty progression system allows you to reach ever higher levels of broken builds and loot showers. How deep can you go?
As stated before, I'm really happy with this one, and it's honestly a pleasure having you all interested in the game and allowing me to go crazy working on it.
A big thank you to all playtesters who helped me out once again!
I hope you all have as much fun playing it as I'm having working on it :)
See you soon for the next Sneak-peek for "Dungeon: Keep Her - Alpha 0.19", a content focused update where I'll expand on all existing systems!
For DKH Alpha 0.19: besides introducing all the new base system changes from DRH, you can expect a lot of work going into more (and better quality) lewd scenes, character races, personalities, genetic traits, weapons, abilities, items... the list goes on.
Let me know what you'd like to see!
