Tall Grass, Rain and more - update log (0.3.3)
The game prototype has been updated (0.3.3):
- Implemented rain system (it now starts to rain at random). For now it's just a visual effect, but I will experiment with making rain (or weather overall) also affect game mechanics in some way
- Added Tall Grass and Fiber cards -> this also changed how torches are crafted
- Reworked Torch Card related things (check the crafting info in-game for details)
- Added Cord Card (can be made from fiber) and made Fishing Rod Card craftable
- Added FX effects during card combat
- Card Health bars are now “reddish” to make the combat more readable
- Smoother zoom mouse scroll
- Fixed typos/errors in Crafting Info window
- Tweak faster game speed related things (it felt a bit too fast)
- Fixed some fast game speed sound issues
- Fixed some issues with canceling crafting actions when another card spawns near the player
- Other minor fixes and map tweaks (related to new "Tall Grass" card)
