Well, after a long time of not working on the game at all it has finally been revived. I have reverted the game back to the original art style and game setup as before (before it was released) because the game just kinda felt "dead" and I didn't find it very fun to work on. However, despite this roll-back I have added many more features to the game:
Added:
+ Ammo system
+ Ammo pickups
+ Inventory (you can hold two weapons at a time, and can select your weapons before respawning)
+ Health pickups
+ A lot of sounds
+ New map layout
+ New tile set
+ Player with most kills will have a crown
+ Ability for players to pick their character's colour when joining a game
Changes:
> Weapons now change how fast the player can move
> Back to the old, unreleased artstyle
Fixes:
~ Camera now follows players that kill players instead of just following the one that killed you, even after they've been teleported into the super secret death zone after dying.
~ Player speed being really wack on slower computers because of the movement friction not being scaled to fit with a slower framerate
