A downloadable code editor for Windows and Linux

We’re excited to announce the first public beta of Text Forge, a lightweight and modular code editor built with the Godot Engine.

🛠️ What’s New

Text Forge 0.1 introduces a solid foundation for extensible workflows:

  • Panels for file navigation, scripting, and customization
  • Command palette for quick actions and shortcuts
  • Extension system to plug in new features with ease
  • Action scripts for automation and custom behavior

Whether you’re a game developer, toolmaker, or just love clean editors, Text Forge is designed to be minimal by default, modular by design.
