Hey everyone!
I’m back with a huge new enemy addition to the game — VAMPIRES! These aren't your typical weaklings; they bring in a fresh challenge that’ll test your reflexes and strategies!
Increased Health: Vampires are tougher than orcs and skeletons. They can take more hits before going down.
Ranged Attacks: Unlike other enemies that only approach and attack by contact, Vampires now shoot projectile attacks! They fire skull-like objects toward the player at intervals.
Balanced Aggression: They won’t spam shots, but you’ll need to keep moving to dodge their attacks while fighting off closer enemies.
You’ll now face enemies that pressure you from a distance.
Timing and positioning are more important — stand still, and you’re an easy target!
With their high HP, Vampires will often be on screen longer, requiring smart shooting and dodging tactics.
I added a shooting behavior to the Vampire enemy using object timers.
The skull projectile is a new object with its own hit detection and speed mechanics.
Vampires have slightly slower movement speed, but compensate with their ranged attacks.
Balanced the spawn rates so Vampires appear after you’ve survived a certain score threshold, making early game easier and late game more intense!
