Thanks for all the support so far! We’ve been hard at work improving Deep Space Tavern based on feedback and our internal testing. This update brings a major overhaul to the kitchen system, new player prompts, and several quality-of-life improvements to help you better run your fantasy intergalactic tavern.
🔧 Bug Fixes & System Tweaks
Reworked the core kitchen mechanic: instead of clicking ingredients, players can now drag food directly—making cooking more intuitive and streamlined.
Implemented a workaround for a critical game-breaking bug that previously prevented the game from ending properly.
🌟 New Features & Improvements
All interactions in the 3D tavern space have been refined for a more cohesive and responsive experience.
Tutorial system optimized: clearer instructions and better pacing to make it easier for new players to understand the gameplay loop.
Added a bell prompt and animation to clearly indicate when and how to send out the food.
Introduced a tray prompt that warns the player if they attempt to serve without food.
A bowl has been added to the kitchen, allowing players to scoop out soup properly—bringing more clarity and realism to the cooking process.
📝 Notes
This is still a prototype and school project—you may encounter bugs or missing features.
