CORE: This upgrades HP and let native programs [always running] as SUBROUTINES + SYSTEMS change how the Mecha will behave in battle helping the Pilots not take much damage during S.L.U.M.s. Most pilots choose this one as the first upgrade. Can’t make much damage against the monster if you are already dead from three bad rounds.
SHIELD: Extra layer of HP to take damage and CHASSIS [native/cosmetic/aesthetic] + EXTERNAL SHIELD [special/combo/chain] alterations that visually modify your Mecha. Custom paint job on the house. Decals are earned. Name, someone will come up with something better than MCH-42069 soon.
ATTACK: This upgrade will increase your fire power. Or acid power, depending on what the lab rats came up with this time to help. Any shape or manner they can manage to make it work. Unstable prototypes might misfire. This applies to all Upgrades BTW, forgot to mention. Caps at +10 in level 5.
SPECIAL: Okay, here is where the fun starts. Specials are always unstable prototypes, but they have no locked ties, category OR CAPS. You heard that right. Go become a mobile atomic bomb your animal.
