Small WIP Update (BYOG Edition)

Hello Friends!

It turns out it was a good idea not to promise a concrete date for the next update because I truly needed a lot of rest this past week.  I did get a lot done though, and a good chunk of it was for the Bring Your Own Game playtesting party at Glitch City LA this past Saturday.

I do want to talk about BYOG in its own post soon, but for the time being just wanted to share the updates I made for the version I brought to the event.

0.9.0.1 BYOG 7.19 Edition

• Small improvements to timing of scene transitions and other tiny hitches that were bothering me
• Marlow's office now has an extra background of a door opening when Hal enters
• Cape West (lighthouse exterior scene) now has 3 backgrounds: Establishing shot of the lighthouse, lighthouse with beacon lit, and shot of Hal's car's headlamp to illustrate the point about Fresnel lenses.
• Keeper's Quarters now has actual scenes in it (wow)
  • This includes 2 ending variable choices that were previously inaccessible
  • 9 backgrounds including a shot of the crystal radio Marlow finds. (There are 11 in the code but 3 are unused for now)
  • There are a couple missing transitional lines but the bulk of the scenes are there.
• A placeholder CG in the Spiral Staircase 
• Fresnel Lens now also has Scenes in it! It's still janky with chunks missing (I hadn't quite figured out how to get the branching to work the way I wanted) but it is slightly more complete than before.
  • Also with 3 background images.

Not a huge amount but still pretty tangible improvement and enough that I was able to show it and get some good feedback :)
I'm still debating whether it's worth it to upload this version here or to wait until the text actually is finalized (probably.....not this week. Sorry. Been way too busy with other life commitments including a sick pet but I am chipping away at it whenever I get the chance).
