If you go to 1 North 0 East on Level 0 and do not find a chest and you have never gotten a sword, your setup was not completed. You can do a F9 and load file null to circumvent the issue. I do not know why it exists yet. Unfortunately you will need to recreate any characters that you created up to that point and recreate your team.
