So basically, I got a bit fed up with GB-Studio and decided to try some other game engines.
This did not go well and I decided to go back to GB-Studio. Give it a second chance as they say.
I've had to struggle a bit with the limitations and I had to redraw a lot of sprites and tiles.
I also decided instead of 250 MILLION individual screens it's better to group a bunch together.
This made the limitations worse but I've been working around them. And still managed to fill the screens with stuff.
The map system is broken until I can come up with a good idea to set the map marker accurately. Maybe just a big trigger on each coordinate, this might lag the game.
There is less map to explore until I get more screens done, I may have to redo some of them completely cause the tiling program I used has put a bunch of unnecessary "unique" tiles all over the place. (It could also be my fault, but it's probably the program, yeah, definately the program.
