Sound Show Pro now supports displaying custom HTML pages on the second screen and interacting with them via Sound Show buttons triggering JavaScript methods. This opens up entirely new creative possibilities!
A few built-in templates are included:
Countdown Timer
Parameters: Duration, Font Size, Auto Start
Actions: Toggle Pause, Reset
Clock
Parameters: 12h/24h Format, Show Seconds
Scoreboard
Parameters: Team A/B names
Actions: Add/Remove Points A & B, Reset Scores
Dice Roller
Parameters: Number of Faces, Dice Count
Action: Throw
Drawing Board
Parameter: Pen Size
Action: Clear Canvas
Advanced users with HTML/JS skills (or using tools like ChatGPT!) can create custom displays for timers, voting panels, lyrics, and more.
You can now use multiple playlist players simultaneously, each displayed in its own tab. Easily switch between playlists without losing their current state.
You can now assign actions to up to 5 mouse buttons.
New actions include:
Favorite: Like Quick Play, but adds/removes items in the Favorite bar.
Lock/Unlock: Toggles the locked state of an item.
Replace: Similar to crossfade, but immediate.
Available actions for mouse binding: Start, Crossfade, Replace, Fade In, Toggle, Toggle Fade, Lock/Unlock, Quick Play, Favorite, Nothing.
Sound Show Action Playables
Trigger built-in Sound Show actions from a button. Examples include:
→ Go to next category
→ Fade out all sounds
→ Play next item in a playlist
Add these by clicking the '+' button in edit mode.
Sound Effect Playables
Save sound effect settings (echo, chorus, pitch, etc.) into a button. Clicking it will apply the effect.
Add from the '+' button in edit mode.
Customize the height of the top bar (search + paging) in the main, categories, and favorites grids. Useful for example to have bigger buttons for touch screens.
New buttons added to path editors (sound, video, image):
→ "Open Location" to access the file folder
→ "Copy to Clipboard" to copy the path
New bindings:
→ Go to next/previous page
→ Go to next/previous category or select a specific one
Separate actions now available for each knob direction
Added default layouts for QWERTY and AZERTY.
The layout is selected automatically on first launch based on system language.
One-click buttons allow easy switching between QWERTY and AZERTY.
The timer configuration popup has been completely rebuilt and now supports full translations.
Left/right click actions on items now save correctly
Sliders now correctly update their displayed values
Fixed missing properties in video edition popup (e.g., path)
You can now interact with sounds during smooth looping (stop/change volume)
Memory leak fix: waveform previews for long sounds no longer cause memory issues
Various other minor fixes
Fixed missing translations
Small visual improvements across the interface for a more polished look
