Always on going ✍🏽👨🏾‍💻And Lore

Hello everyone! I wanted to touch base with you and reassure you that YES my novel is still on going.  Unless stated otherwise, I am working on this novel. Sorry this isn’t a build update. Didn’t mean to scare ya but I’ve had a few people contact me asking “what’s going?” Or “Did it die?”  No it’s just I’m one person. I was never much of a coder before this novel. I’m still learning where I can. I love to draw but been on hiatus with it until about three years ago. I’d like to have my own art within the story. I want little cutscenes and what not as well so my readers can feel more connected. Doing the best I can with little I have. “Why don’t you hire anyone?” That cost money pup. Money I don’t have. No one is willing to work for free. Especially in this economy and believe you me, I GET IT lol. The last was hectic for me, I have to pay back taxes on some old files years ago. It’s crazy out here but despite all of that my strong will keeps me going. Plus the nice comments I’ve gotten from new and current followers checking in on me. Thank you for that. That does mean a lot. I’ve gotten here say from followers of others spreading misinformation and rumors because it’s been two years. So to those haters, get bent. I take my time because I love this project. When I first released it I knew it was going to have some mistakes. Hell even the following updates probably will but because I love my project so much, I carefully read and examine my work.  So overall yes I’m still putting in the work when I can I know those who understand will shut the haters down. I see y’all. 

Now as for the other part of my title and this post. Lore. The story will have a lore book I’m also creating where readers can read and understand some of the aspects of the story. As I add new main characters each comes with their own backstory. Even the time lycanians go by will be native to the story. For example:

1 Lycanian year = 480 days

Divided into 4 Long seasons, each with 120 days

Each season has 3 lunar phases/moons (like months), each lasting 40 days

Moons of the year (3 per season, 12 total)  Each “moon” is 40 days long. 

Season: Emberael (Fire/Summer - Passion, battle, Ritual) 

-Moon of ashfang - time of warriors, training, and heat.

-Moon of Redhowl - Ritual moon, time of celebration, and fire ceremonies  

-Moon of blazebane - Time of endurance, survival under the sun .  So each moon represents a 40 day month in simple terms . As for the days themselves you have:

-Fangday (Fire)

-Skyhowl (Air)

-Duskrun (Dark) 

-Stonepad (Earth) 

-Tidebound (Water) 

-Moonfang (Moon) 

-Sunwatch (Sun) 

So an example would be: “32nd day of the moon of ashfang, Duskrun, year 219 A.F. (A.F. Will be explained later as to not put spoilers in. For now we’ll say “After founder”.) 

Translation: “32nd day Of warriors, and training, on the shadowy (or dark) weekday of Duskrun, 219 A.F.” 

This is a small example out of the lore I’m creating in conjunction with the story. I’ve put a lot of thought into this project as you can see. So when it comes down to it there’s a lot to look forward too. Will the lore book be released with and within the novel? Maybe within if I can figure that coding out. If not, I will have to make copies and get them laminated and sent to readers and/or post them up on itch.io. As for will it be with the next update? Also a big maybe.  I know it would be nice to have the lore book for reference to a few things but I do want to get more story out first  I will see though!
