Change movie scene animation

How to Date an Entity (and stay alive)

  • Changed animation for the movie scene

I decided to change it because I drew the movie scene intentionally the same as a panel from Goodbye Eri as a hard reference. At first, I used it as an Easter egg referring to this manga, which somewhat inspired the atmosphere of the game. It also fit the vibe of my game perfectly. However, I realized that it was a really bad idea. I thought this game would be a fun little project, but it’s now growing more popular than I expected. I also realized that hard references should only be used for memes or, at the very least, viral manga panels that everyone recognizes. That means what I did is no different from plagiarism. I decided to redraw it to feel better about myself. I sincerely apologize for my oversight here. Also, you can rest assured that this is the only artwork where I used a hard reference. My other drawings are mostly my own ideas, with minimal use of references. If you find any drawings where you think I used hard references, you can let me know, since I might have forgotten about them myself. Again, I will try my best not to make the same mistake in the future.
Thank you for reading and understanding.
