This update restructures how some of the base mechanics I made early on in development function. Everything will work the same as it did before, but with less bugs along the way. I also updated The save/load system, and I’m hoping it will result in less issues for the users who were reporting their games crashing while saving or loading a game. There’s perhaps still some work to do on the save/load system (I personally noticed a slight stutter in frames when saving/loading a game), but I’m hoping that this new system will be better in the long run. Below are the changes I mentioned already, and a couple others.
What’s Next? I’ll be trying to fix any immediate bugs people are experiencing after this update, but after that I wanna work on actual changes to the game. I’m thinking of new leader traits, a fourth bigger brush size, updates to the map selection menu, and more. I’ll expand on that a bit later down the line, but for now I hope you enjoy the update and as always let me know about any bugs you’ve experienced. I’ll do my best to fix them :)
