Next Update Renamed to 0.4.6 and Versioning Updates

From 0.4.5.1 to 0.4.6

Hello everyone, just a quick post to let you know that the next update will be renamed 0.4.6 instead of 0.4.5.1. This change is made to keep the versioning structure clear and consistent.

In MMVS, the fourth number in the version refers to patches and hotfixes only. Since the upcoming update contains much more work than a simple hotfix, it makes sense to release it as 0.4.6.

Future Versions: 0.4.5.2 becomes 0.4.7

Similarly, the following update will be numbered 0.4.7, not 0.4.5.2. All these versions 0.4.5, 0.4.6, and 0.4.7 are still part of the ongoing “Vore update” roadmap.

Versioning Details

MMVS now follows this versioning format: [RELEASE].[MAJOR].[MILESTONE].[PATCH] - [PHASE] [PREVIEW]

Example: MMVS v0.4.0.1 - Alpha Preview 19 (internal test build) MMVS v0.4.0.1 - Alpha (public release)

1. RELEASE: 0 for now, as the game is far from its full vision. 1 will mark the finished game.
2. MAJOR: Significant updates with a notable amount of new features or systems.
3. MILESTONE: Adds content, features, or major changes based on the GitHub Road Map.
4. PATCH: Reserved for hotfixes, minor tweaks, and small adjustments.
5. PHASE: Indicates development stage: Pre-Alpha, Alpha, Beta.
6. PREVIEW: Reserved for internal testing builds. This part is omitted for public releases. When used, it shows the test build progression number.

Changes from Previous Versioning

• Previously, I used Pre Alpha xx for test builds, this was incorrect terminology. It has now been replaced with Preview xx for clarity.
• The term Minor has been replaced by Milestone, to better reflect the scope of those updates
