Hello everyone, we’re back with our weekly development blog! The end of the game is near and we’re eager to display our progress so far
My focus this week was primarily polishing the game, bug fixing, and programming in the final cut-scene. David, who created the animation, got it yesterday and I was able to implement it quickly. The animation plays after you’ve beaten the last puzzle.
Besides that, it was majorly bug fixing for me, I fixed an error with puzzle 3, in which the answer was not working properly. We ended up switching the answer which is pretty much fixed the bug itself as now when the player inputs it, it works 100% of the time.
I also added some player feed back for puzzle one, I added some lights over the wires that indicate which one is finished, and which one is not. It is indicated with a glow light over it.
