t's been a busy week — we've made major progress both visually and technically, and are actively preparing the project for the shift to Version 0.2.
The most important change is the new potion handoff mechanic. You now need to place the bottle on the table and confirm the action via a pop-up window. Rena can now drink any potion. The animations aren't ready yet, but we're actively working on the mechanic. Potions will have a variety of effects, and some will significantly impact the main character. We'll gradually add new content around this.
For example, the "Transformation" potion has been split into three distinct types: - Fertility Goddess Potion (increases or grows breasts) - Jade Rod Potion (same effect, but applies to the penis) - Transformation Potion (selectively changes appearance) The effects operate on a "+1" or "-1" basis. Give Rena a "Fertility Goddess" potion — her breast size increases or decreases by one level. Give a second bottle — it stacks, and so on.
We aim to reflect these modifications in the hot scenes. Naturally, this is a huge amount of work, so we'll add those scenes gradually.
What else we've done:
- Wrote and integrated the full story questline for the character "The Wanderer", ran early tests;
- Finished the second frame of the new Steffa and Baron scene;
- Started illustrating story scenes for The Wanderer;
- Began working on the trading mini-game scene, where negotiations will come in many forms (some not-so-honest, but very hot);
- Took on the quest of a new character – the adventurer Eržbet, who's under a rather peculiar curse.
