The complexity quickens

ANAPATHA
A downloadable game for Windows

I have been hard at work in the time that I have, moving big items forward and as always, tinkering and refining along the way.

There is a lot to see now.  As I roam around and sew things together a little at a time the level of detail will rise everywhere to match that of the 'Healthy Marsh', at least that is the minimum I am aspiring to.  It might take me a year to finish everything out, assuming I don't encounter any technical problems (Godot 4 is awesome; but my whole world is one enormous .tscn.  Implementing occlusion culling was a big advancement.)  Anapatha now has forest, swamp and mangrove ecosystem areas, that are set up to visually enjoy as well as playing important parts in the network of pathways.  In addition there is a desert, cave system and multiple urban areas and more abstract 'tech wizardry' areas planned.  Dozens of unique moods to discover!

The last image is a jungle-gym kind of thing I built to assist in refining where the player can and can't go.  I try to be a bit clever, it's the only thing that's allowed me to survive and keep my family safe.  So it's nice to use it for art

Best wishes, and happy Canada Day

Chris
