Tales of Naturia
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

This month has been a bit slow. Heat wave, plus other things happening slowed down my production quite a lot.  Otherwise, I started working on Gnome's Mound, which was the primary thing I did.

The general idea is having to send mine carts into this central elevator to take to the bottom level. The left and right most areas can be entered from either path and they have their own puzzles or smaller areas to enter.

One area that I made requires you to retrieve the cart that Gnome wants enchanted materials in, which gets sent to a lower floor and you'd have to send it back up. Otherwise, you send a cart filled with materials to where you transfer to that other cart before it goes to the central elevator. And the puzzle with that involves changing the switch tracks (not present) and pushing the cart accordingly. This took a lot of work regarding movement, what determines where it goes, and all without it getting stuck on an auto loop. I also had to rework the tracks to account for event interference.

The level below is simple, just introduces you to boost arrays that increase the speed the carts go up when pushed up a slope. There are actually two carts that have to be pushed up this way, and the other is going into another area you access by riding another cart into that area. That one has yet to be made, but the right-most area I started working on late in the month.

I'm hoping to get the dungeon designed before the month is over, barring interference and the like. Once the dungeon is made, I will work on reworking the Picnic Basket, as I now have the art asset to do it. It was actually done a lot sooner, but miscommunication on my end thought it wasn't, but it's fine now. I hope you look forward to seeing what I do with that.
