This week, I focused on sharpening the player experience by improving enemy feedback and atmosphere. The sniper enemies now telegraph their shots with a visible laser beam that breaks when line of sight is lost, making their attacks more telegraphed and intense. I also revamped projectile visuals with a fresh, dynamic flash shader to make every shot feel impactful, though I decided to hold off on adding trails for now to keep things clean.
On the audio side, new music tracks were integrated to elevate the mood, adding tension and pacing that better match the action. These tweaks bring more clarity and polish to the combat, helping players anticipate danger while immersing them deeper into the world.
