20XX Is a mix of one of my dream ideas and one of my biggest hyper fixations, but unfortunately locking myself to just being a fan game is super demotivating for what I really want with this game. So as of today, June 28th 2025, I am quitting the 20XX project for good. I have uploaded everything i've worked on up to this point as the final "20XX" and unlisted all the original demos for anyone who cares. Remember, this new released version isn't finished, it's not even close. It's bound to be buggy and sometimes broken, but it's all the content I made in the span of 6 months. Thank you everyone who supported the project especially feathered-cat for working on a player model that never got finished (So if you play, the model in the gallery is NOT the player model it was a placeholder) showtheater for being an inspiration and featuring 20XX in his Chonny Jash game, love3crime for donating to the game, and most importantly Chonny Jash for being the central spark for this game. there will be no more updates on 20XX moving forward, thank you for your support.
The idea isn't being thrown away! I'm just rebranding to an original idea, so 20XX may be dead but it's binary innards will live on in a new game I'm working on. Same base premise being a parkour action game where you run, dash, and slide through the world, but this time it will be BIGGER. It will be BETTER. And most importantly, it WILL BE ON STEAM!! It's not out now, it's still in pre-development, but when it is check it out if you enjoyed the concept of 20XX! To give you an image of what the game actually is just imagine 20XX with guns and you actually got the grappling hook Ain't No Rest Jash couldn't give you. Some quick "FaQ" about it: It will have a plot to it which was hard to bring to 20XX, it will be a hundred times more polished than 20XX with a better art style, and as previously stated it will be available on Steam! Will it cost money? Idk, but if it does I'll be sure to drop some free keys for Jashers over on the Jash Tumblr!
