WRET

WRET
A downloadable game for Windows

Hey everyone! 👋

Before anything — a quick update:

I've been working hard on my main project, a modern PSX-style psychological horror experience, and it's taking a bit longer than expected. The good news? It's on track for release next month! Thank you for your patience — I promise it'll be worth the wait.

✨ In the meantime, I made something else...

To keep the horror spirit alive, I created a short, atmospheric game jam project that I’m excited (and a little scared) to share with you.

🕯️ WRET

A minimalist, slow-burning psychological horror

(No escape. No chase. Only whispers and watching.)

👁️ The Setup

Cameroon didn’t believe in much. When they said the ritual was harmless — just five days — he agreed. A quiet house. A few strangers. A place to belong. But now, every morning he wakes up alone... and they’re already waiting. They whisper through the walls. They never move — but he knows they’re watching. And each day, the house changes. By Day 5, the ritual will be complete.

🎮 Key Features

🔹 5 Days of Ritual – A short story told through subtle shifts and dread

🔹 No UI. No dialogue. No instructions. – Let the house guide you

🔹 PSX Visuals – Retro textures and low-fi fidelity for max unease

🔹 Atmospheric Audio – Built for headphones: whispers, hums, and horror

🔹 Zero Combat, Zero Chase – Just tension, observation, and inevitable transformation

🕹️ Gameplay Time: ~7–10 minutes

🎮 Controls: WASD – Move | E – Interact | Mouse – Look

Play WRET now…

and remember: they were always watching. 👁️🕯️
