Devlog Update: Fixes & Polish
Hey, Exo-Miners! We’ve been hard at work smashing bugs and polishing the game based on feedback. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new and improved:
Bug Fixes & Core Improvements
- Correct Station Speed on Load: Fixed a major bug where the Space Station’s speed upgrades weren’t applied correctly when loading a saved game. Your station should now be as fast as you remember it!
- Max-Level Manager Boosts: Squashed an issue where a manager’s final level upgrade would sometimes give a smaller bonus than intended. Now, maxing out your managers will provide the full, powerful boost you’ve earned.
- A Fresher Start: The ‘Reset Progress’ function has been reworked. Now, resetting will lock all planets, including the Home World, challenging you to colonize it anew with an emergency starter ship for a true fresh start.
Visuals & Game Feel Polish
- Satisfying Deliveries: We’ve improved the timing of reward pop-ups. Resource and Gold notifications now appear at your Space Station right when the flying cargo icon arrives, making it much more satisfying to see your haul come in.
- Juicier Effects: Asteroid explosions are now 40% bigger for more visual impact! We also polished the floating text numbers, which now “pop” with a new animation, making every gain feel more rewarding.
- Seamless Space: The scrolling space background has been updated to create a perfect, infinite loop, removing any visible seams or gaps for a more immersive experience.
