Here's a little project I've been doing in my spare time. I was wondering how much I could shrink Space Knights and still keep it playable so took the Tricube Tales system, added my drawings of cute space knights and this is the result:
A space crusade. A minimalist system. Many explosions.
"—Commander, the Infernal Legion has taken Tozomia.
—Rally the Hounds. This is about to get narrative.”
Mini-Knights is a fast, story-driven, and shamelessly epic role-playing game where you lead a squad of Space Knights (yes, the ones with oversized swords, bizarre dogmas, and power armor that creaks every time they talk about lore).
It´s based on the Tricube Tales system, Mini-Knights fits in a few pages but throws you headfirst into cosmic grimdark—with a healthy dose of fun along the way.
What’s inside:
Company creation with Types like Assault, Destroyers, or Magical Knights.
A simple dice system that punishes 1s and rewards multiple successes.
Supplies and Troops as narrative resources.
A mission generator with complications like “toxic zone,” “no reinforcements,” and the like.
Perfect for short campaigns, one-shots, or even fast-paced PBEM sessions.
Want to save a planet while arguing whether to use Strategy 47-A or just charge in with your chainsword? This is your game.
