📝 Developer’s Note
When I first released the demo, I received a lot of negative feedback regarding the controls. As a solo developer, it wasn’t easy to immediately identify the root cause — and honestly, those days were extremely tough. The criticism felt personal at times, and I struggled with self-doubt.
But I didn’t give up.
I spent a lot of time carefully analyzing the issues, and with this update, I’ve made changes that I hope will reduce your frustration and make the game feel better to play. If you’ve already tried the game and moved on, I’d be incredibly grateful if you gave it another shot. Your feedback truly keeps me going.

🔧 Major Control Improvements
Movement responsiveness has been greatly improved
Jump input refined
Reduced jump wind-up and airtime for a quicker, snappier feel
※ Removed jump height control (previously based on input duration) → now a consistent max-height jump
(Double jump will be introduced after the boss battle, starting in Chapter 2)
Camera auto-rotation removed during main areas
🐛 Bug Fixes
Fixed falling issue during boss fight while swimming
Fixed sliding issue after boss attacks
🎮 UI & Tutorial
Updated gamepad tutorial and guide UI to match revised controls
Added keybinding explanation text
